Tom is a former public official who served as mayor of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, where he also was chairman of the city's Planning Commission and chairman of its Economic Development Commission. As executive assistant to Dane County Executive Rick Phelps from 1993-1994, he directed land use and development policy for Dane County (Madison, Wisconsin and surrounding areas).

Tom is a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences sponsored by state housing authorities, planning associations, housing industry groups, and universities. He acts as the primary company spokesman in many national organizations. Recent speaking engagements include:

The only pro at working at Gorman and Company was the day I left! Absolutely the worst company!

Unsafe work environment, management that was unqualified and under the influence of drugs and alcohol on a daily basis. No proper training. Blatant racism by management to the CEO!

I interviewed with a manager named Tanya Pope who was clearly under the influence of drugs and alcohol and she took one look at my application asked 2 questions and I was hired on the spot. Not a real interview by far!

How does your compensation at Gorman & Company, Inc compare to the industry average?

Very low pay especially for the work load. I left and working in the same field of work in same area and makes significantly more with less responsibilities and safer work environment.

What's the diversity at Gorman & Company, Inc like?

It is none! Ran, managed, and controlled by white racist supremacists! No other race and culture is respected just tolerated to do the jobs they don't won't to.

What brings you the most joy at Gorman & Company, Inc?
