Interns will assist in the daily operations and facilitation of simulation-based training events, helping to create realistic learning experiences for healthcare professionals and students. In addition to supporting on-site simulations, the intern will also be able to work on mobile simulation projects deployed at various Parkview facilities and EMS service locations. A key component of this internship includes collaboration with the 3D printing team on projects that support simulation and medical training. Interns will learn how to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation equipment, including manikins and supporting technology. They will also participate in scenario setup and breakdown and assist with technical support during live simulation events. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical understanding, good computer skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies. While previous experience with simulation or AV equipment is not required, it is a plus. The internship is best suited for students currently pursuing degrees in information technology, computer science, biology, health sciences, or pre-med. This role is designed for undergraduate or graduate students and may serve as a pathway to potential full-time opportunities in the future. The internship is primarily first shift, roughly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though hours may vary slightly depending on simulation scheduling.
