The successful candidate must have be able to obtain a CDL Class B with a passenger endorsement and be able to maintain a DOT card. A CDL is not required to apply, training will be provided. Candidates who currently possess a CDL will be given priority. This position requires possession of a good, 6 year driving record and the ability to drive in all types of adverse weather. Because we provide an integral service to the public, our operators are expected to report to work during Adverse Weather conditions and work split shifts. Prior bus or heavy vehicle driving experience preferred. All successful candidates must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
Hourly pay starts at $20.64 per hour and experience will be pay base in Transit or Motor Coach Experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

This position performs daily servicing, inspecting, and cleaning of buses and other GoTriangle vehicles and performs the removal of vaults from fare boxes. This position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick and deliver vehicles for services and repairs; completes a multipoint inspection on every vehicle; wash and vacuum van prior to return.
Usual tasks are checking and adding fluids, changing air filters, replacing light bulbs, replacing windshield wiper blades; mount, balance and rotate tires as needed.
Completes simple reports noting work performed and vehicles serviced.
Records data from maintenance invoices into the Fleet Maintenance software and generates check requests for approval.
Inspects for and reports on vehicle damage such as torn seats, damaged floors, cracked windows, loose mirrors, worn or damaged tires, fluid leaks, etc.
Performs minor maintenance as required or as directed by direct supervisor.
Provides road call service for disabled vehicles.
Communicates any maintenance issues to a Mechanic.
Fully knowledgeable of and maintains compliance with all Safety rules and regulations.
Ensures proper safety tools and equipment are used at all times and understands the requirement for reporting Safety hazards and/or violations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma is preferred but not required.
Six years driving experience, possession of a good driving record, and the ability to drive in all types of adverse weather.
Basic knowledge of fundamental mechanics.
Prior maintenance experience preferred.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with staff and customers.
Must be able to report to work during Adverse Weather conditions.
Must have or be able to obtain a class B Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement.

Working Conditions:

Serves as a community outreach representative supporting the GoTriangle transit system by assisting customers and promoting a safe, welcoming environment. The Procurement & Contracts Analyst is a professional level OR mid-level position responsible for the coordination and management of GoTriangle's procurement, purchasing and contracting activities. This includes ensuring that all procurements and purchases are conducted in accordance with GoTriangle policy, state laws and federal regulations. Working in close partnership with the department peers, the Procurement & Contracts Analyst ensures the agency's procurement activities align with GoTriangle's mission, deliver cost-effective solutions, and maintain robust compliance. This position reports to the Director of Procurement & Contract Administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and/or oversees all procurements conducted by GoTriangle including direct participation in or oversight of all procurements that require formal bidding, competitive proposals or qualifications-based methods, as well as informal bidding, price quote methods, direct or cooperative contracts.
Determines appropriate procurement methods, applicable terms and conditions and develops procurement schedules.
Prepares and/or reviews all Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Invitation for Bid (IFB) documents for statutory, regulatory and policy compliance prior to solicitation.
Coordinates procurement solicitation process including advertisement, pre-proposal conferences, responses to inquiries, issuance of addenda to solicitations, receipt of bids/proposals, facilitates evaluation and responses to protests.
Coordinates management reviews, approvals and execution of GoTriangle contracts and documents including reviews for statutory, regulatory, and policy compliance.
Reviews, processes and manages GoTriangle's contracts from contract / PO creation to execution.
Administers amendments, and change orders by reviewing submissions, approving contracts that meet standards, and collaborating with departments to make adjustments when needed.
Prepares and maintains reports on procurement-related activities, data and metrics. Prepares ad-hoc or one-off special reports as needed.
Stays abreast of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements of and other federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting GoTriangle.
Maintains all procurement and contract records. Maintains comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and readiness for audits and reviews, including FTA triennial reviews.
Prepares training materials and coordinates training with department staff on an ongoing or as needed basis.
Participate in supplier registration and account management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business administration, public administration or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Three years' related experience to include considerable experience in government procurement, purchasing and contracting with emphasis on Federal Transit Administration requirements regarding expenditures of federal funds.
Experience drafting and managing technology procurements, preferably in a governmental agency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state procurement, purchasing and contracting laws, regulations and requirements.
Ability to work independently on multiple program objectives at once.
Exceptional level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with government officials, GoTriangle management and staff, and the general public.
A working understanding of PC's including finance software and the Microsoft Office Packages.

Fully knowledgeable of and maintains compliance with all Shop Safety and OSHA rules and regulations.
Ensures proper safety tools and equipment are used at all times and understands the requirement for reporting Safety hazards and/or violations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or GED.
One year of related experience and/or training, experience in a professional maintenance shop preferred.
Prior truck/van maintenance experience preferred.
A good driving record and a valid North Carolina Driver's License and the appropriate classification.
Basic knowledge of fundamental mechanics.

This part-time opportunity involves performing a variety of foundational accounting duties within the Finance Department. The position averages 18-24 hours per week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accessing the general ledger via proprietary financial software
Creating and inputting journal vouchers
Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Participating in monthly close meetings
Reconciling bank statements
Assisting in the monthly updates of fixed assets
Analyzing general ledger accounts for incorrect postings; making necessary corrections
Identifying variances monthly in the general ledger and be able to explain as needed

Education and Experience:

Working Conditions:

Rebuilds and/or refurbishes complex mechanical and electronic systems.
Fabricates parts such as frames, brackets, braces and linkages from metal. Welds and shapes as needed.

Implements preventive maintenance and servicing programs. Provides input to program changes needed.
Advises management of major equipment problems and discusses remedies.

Keeps current on the full body of information regarding all aspects (mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, HVAC and hydraulic systems) of maintaining and repairing the authority's vehicles with particular attention to complex electronic and computerized control systems.
Conducts in-house training programs, as requested.
Recommends procedures for the shop and communicates to the staff.

The primary work environment is the garage facility. Individual must be constantly aware of the hazards associated with the garage environment. Individual will be exposed to toxic and non-toxic cleaning and wax stripping fluids, fuels, glues, lubricants, floor cleaning machine, large stationary bus washer, steam cleaning machines, and other normal garage equipment and tools. Physical stamina is significant; requires sustained bending and reaching positions at uncomfortable angles. The incumbent may also have to endure brief periods of lifting or carrying heavy objects, sometimes up at least one flight of stairs.

Gasoline Mechanic
The Mechanic I provides ongoing service, preventive maintenance work and minor repairs on vehicles, buses, machinery, and equipment. The Mechanic I reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the lead mechanic. This position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs preventive maintenance services and minor repair work on passenger, ADA and light transit vans.
Performs multi-point inspections, changing oil, checking and adding fluids, changing air, fuel and oil filters, changing hoses, replacing spark plugs, rotating tires, mounting and balancing wheels, replacing shocks, replacing light bulbs, replacing windshield wiper blades, checking and replacing serpentine belts, lubricating chassis, checking and servicing brakes, servicing transmissions and differentials, testing and replacing batteries.
Engages in increasingly more complex maintenance and repair work as experience and skills allow.
Inspects for and reports on vehicle damage such as torn seats, fluid leaks, dents, scratches, etc.
Provides assistance to Mechanics II/III on more complex repairs.
Provides and assist with road calls for disabled vehicles.
Maintains communications and good rapport with Maintenance and Operations staff.
Fully knowledgeable of and maintains compliance with all Shop Safety and OSHA rules and regulations.
Ensures proper safety tools and equipment are used at all times and understands the requirement for reporting Safety hazards and/or violations.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or GED.
One year of related experience and/or training, experience in a professional maintenance shop preferred.
Prior truck/van maintenance experience preferred.
A good driving record and a valid North Carolina Driver's License and the appropriate classification.
Basic knowledge of fundamental mechanics.
Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position independently with minimal supervision.
Must have own tools.
Good communicational skills and ability to work well with staff, vanpool customers and the outside maintenance providers.
Must be able to report to work during Adverse Weather conditions.
Must have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement.
Must be able to meet the Department of Transportation physical requirements and maintain a DOT card.
Some proficiency with computers is necessary.
An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the above stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or extreme temperatures. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting operating facilities, during which the incumbent should observe all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and use all protective clothing and devices provided.
Physical Requirements:
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
