Skills:

Technical: Ability to dive into the data sources for evaluation of usages, identify patterns and assess quality
Analytical: Evaluate current data attribute deployments and map to a target
Analytical : Ability to understand complex business priorities and translate them into clearly defined technical/data specifications for implementation
Innovation: Forward thinking and passionate about integrating technologies with data governance activities reducing manpower efforts
Organization: Ability to lead and guide efforts with cross functional teams and to manage multiple workstreams
Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and concisely, both verbally and in written form at each level of management.
Experience in the Data Governance Catalog software, Metadata management development (platform, glossaries, data dictionary, data catalog, Lineage, data models)
Technical expertise on Informatica Governance Catalog, AXON or Alation is preferred

Qualifications:

5+ years of insurance background (prefer P&C)
3+ years' experience working in a Data Governance role
3+ years' hands-on experience of analyzing data
Knowledge of data governance practices, and integration business and technology requirements
Willingness to take charge and provide direction
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts with respect to delivery targets
Collaborative team player
Bachelor's degree in Information science, computers or equivalent combination of education and experience

Under the leadership and tactical guidance of a SAP COE Leader, the Specialist - SAP Data Governancewill collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SAC and any associated bolt-on's to meet business unit needs for Supply chain reporting needs and Master Data Management business processes under the guidance of Planning & Analytics Manager. The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing the architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America.

Job Details: Architecture of SAP Solution:In collaboration with SAP COE Planning and Analytics Manager and project consultants, develop and maintain roadmap for the data management & governance solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap Develop and own the data management & governance solution plan and drive completion of all deliverables. Develop and maintain guidelines, principles, policies, standards, reference models and best practices for all matters related to SAP/ERP data management & governance related process and data architecture Adhere to the governance of Master data standards and rules Involve in building the tools and processes to bring visibility to data integrity issues and deviations Develop processes for monitoring and cleansing the data, preserving data integrity and quality on an on-going basis Participate in establishing global Master data governance solution, clearly articulating what data are managed centrally, regionally and locally.Follow data Migration Strategy and supporting toolset Define, monitor compliance to data migration procedures and standards Develop detailed Data migration plan and coordinate activities with legacy system owners/architects Work with Technology lead to design, develop, test and deploy Data Migration (ETL) programs for each deployment.Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP S/4HANA solution along with any bolt-on for all “Master Data Management Processes” Proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate with the SAP COE Leader, PMO, Project Team and Business Stakeholders to address the need for SAP S/4HANA bolt-on and other integratedapplications (e.g., Hyperion, Tungsten, Esker, IBP, HRIS, MDG etc.) which have relevance across Terumo operations.Enhance business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.Utilize and build on basic knowledge in areas such as IDOCs, batch job processing to troubleshoot and suggest improvements Involve in performing Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements Act as main design and support authority for the Master Data Management team in collaboration with Business stakeholders.

Implementation of SAP in Terumo Americas:Work with IT Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, PMO, (external) Consulting Team and (internal) Core Business Team for the successful design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the SAP S/4HANA implementation. Work with the IT Leaders, SAP COE Leaders, PMO, Project Team and Business stakeholders to proactively and effectively communicate and collaborates with the User Community to address SAP needs and requirements across all operations in the Americas.Support the building of and effectively manage Integration Points between SAP S/4HANA and other TC systems.Help Perform risk assessments of enterprise apps and work closely with project teams on building/configuring applications security.Create clearly defined Instructions and Structured Documentation to track and control project scope.Develop User Documentation in cooperation with the Consultants and Core Business Team.

Ongoing Support & Maintenance:Take ownership for the Global Process Design Template, Configuration, Test Scripts and other associated work products related to “SAP Master Data Management processes” to ensure effective control over changes required for localization or legal requirements.Adheres to the policies, standards & baselines to ensure consistency Establish processes, methods and tool for data maintenance request Apply processes and tools to support the SLA(s) established by the Master data operations team to the various business units. Monitor and report on the SLA adherence Support SAP COE in testing and validation efforts related to Maintenance Patches, Version Upgrades and integration on New Bolt-on Applications from time to time as required. Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.

Background Experiences:Bachelor's degree in any process area, (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) with professional certification preferably in SAP (e.g., SAP MDG) Multiple Years of Experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry is preferable.Major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs Minimum 5years of experience with a proven record of accomplishment as Master Data/ Data management lead of large and complex SAP business-system transformation programs.Must have had experience implementing Master data management and governance solutions for SAP ECC / S4 HANA and other integrated applications such as Integrated Business Planning, S4 PP/DS
