About the position
Grace Church School is currently seeking a dedicated learning specialist to provide support to our High School students, faculty, and families. The ideal candidate will possess experience in offering effective assistance to high school students navigating a challenging and creative academic environment. They should demonstrate proficiency in reviewing educational evaluations, identifying strategies responsive to individual learning profiles, and exhibit cultural competency with clear communication skills to support a diverse population of students, families, and teachers. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at assisting students seeking accommodations for standardized testing and possess the competencies required to contribute significantly to our high school Guidance Team and the broader high school community.
Responsibilities
Provide targeted individual and group learning support and guidance to high school students
Review external evaluations, conveying recommendations and accommodations into student profiles that are shared with faculty
Help families navigate the evaluation process (private or through the department of education), including identifying a need and the potential outcomes of the process;
Partner with families to understand specific recommendations provided by evaluations, and review with Guidance committee to determine what can be provided by the school; maintain and document up to date information
Collaborate with faculty to determine the most effective ways to meet both individual student needs, differentiate instruction to support the needs of a variety of learners, and support students and faculty through co-teaching and push-in support
Collaborate with grade level deans, counselors and division head to discuss student specific issues, develop and implement interventions and monitor progress
Provide faculty professional development and support in evidence based practices aimed at supporting a diverse range of learners
Consult with and offer support to parents seeking information on their child's learning needs, additional support, accommodations, evaluations, or other relevant issues
Coordinate support for students across various in-school centers (such as the Math & Science Center and the Writing Center) and out-of-school providers, ensuring cohesion across providers
Engage in opportunities for teaching and advising within the school community
Attend regular division, department, student support and supervisory meetings.
Commit to being a learner and participant in addressing issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and anti-racist education in our curriculum and in our community.
Requirements
A master's degree in education, educational therapy, educational psychology, special education or a relevant field.
A minimum of three years of experience in educational settings, preferably as a learning specialist.
Experience with a variety of evidence based practices to provide learning support
Familiarity with high school academic content spanning from the humanities to math and science
Fluency in interpreting and applying results from psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations to school settings
Strong communication skills
Well developed organizational skills, including task prioritization, management, and follow through
Familiarity with Blackbaud and/or August Schools is a plus
Compensation
This is a full-time faculty position with an expected base salary of $68,000-$155,040 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.

About the Position:
The High School Division at Grace Church School seeks part-time math and/or science consultants for the school's Math & Science Center. Most tutoring will take place on campus, with Zoom as an additional option.
The ideal Math & Science Center consultant is reliable, an exceptional listener, clear communicator, interested in working with high school students, and embody anti-racist ideals in practice. Consultants must attend orientation meetings and participate in an in-house certification process with Math & Science Coordinators.
Additional opportunities for substitute teaching may also be available on occasion

Spence seeks an Middle and Upper School Nurse to provide healthcare services and promote the health and well-being of the Spence community for Grades 5-12. The nurse will assess health needs, provide treatment as necessary, and collaborate with school faculty, administration, staff and students' families to support students' health and wellness. The Middle and Upper School nurse also works collaboratively with the Lower School Nurse and reports to the Director of Student and Family Support. This role ensures a safe and healthy school environment, enabling students to maximize their learning potential.
Responsibilities:
Health Services:
Administers first aid, emergency, and preventive care to students in grades 5-12 and faculty/staff during the school day (between the hours of 7:45 am and 3:45 pm). This includes treating injuries and illness, and assessing the need for medical intervention.
Administers prescribed medications to students in accordance with medical orders and school policies.
Maintains first aid kits in the classrooms as well as portable first aid kits for field trips and off-campus experiences.
Organizes access to preventive care (e.g. flu shots) to faculty and staff during the school year.
Identifies health and safety concerns in the school community and promotes a safe and nurturing environment.
Communication/Collaboration:
Acts as a liaison between and resource to parents and school faculty to coordinate care specific to individual students and concerns about general health.
Promotes health issues relevant to the Spence community.
Provides health information that promotes enhanced school performance, informed health care decisions, and wellness and disease prevention. This includes communicating information that is mandated by the Department of Health.

Position Summary
The Fieldston Lower School (Riverdale Campus) is seeking experienced classroom teachers who are available on an on-call basis to serve as substitute teachers for grades PreK-5th, as well as enrichment classes in physical education, science, Spanish, music, ethics, and arts. The ideal candidates will have strong classroom management skills, familiarity with hands-on teaching practices, relevant experience with elementary school students, and the ability to teach multiple subjects.
Substitutes are needed for half day, full day, and extended subbing schedules throughout the school year. The rate for a substitute is $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities of the Substitute will include:

Position Summary
Ethical Culture Fieldston School is looking for qualified Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for our Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School teams. Sports currently offered at ECFS include: Football, Field Hockey, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Boys Volleyball, Girls Tennis, Boys Tennis, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Water Polo, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Boys and Girls Swimming, Boys and Girls Squash, Ice Hockey, Table Tennis, Ski, Baseball, Softball, Girls Lax, Boys Lax, Boys and Girls Indoor and Outdoor Track, Boys Golf, Girls Golf and Ultimate. The applicant will have knowledge of any sport listed above and the ability to teach fundamental skills, tactics and strategies of the game to ECFS students. Prior playing and coaching experience is preferred.
Our program competes in the IVY Preparatory School League, The Athletic Association of Independent Schools of NYC, and is a member of the New York State Association of Independent Schools. Working knowledge of MS Office;
The ability to adhere to school, team and sports league policies, regulations and standards;
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to able to effectively evaluate and interact with student athletes, parents and stakeholders;
Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability;
A commitment to cultural competency and to fostering an inclusive environment that supports students of all backgrounds;

About the Position
Grace Church School seeks a JK-4 Math Specialist to begin January 5 through the remainder of the school year. The JK-4 Math Specialist is a curricular and instructional leader who supports the effective implementation and ongoing growth of the math program. Working in close collaboration with classroom teachers, division heads, and the Middle School Math Department Chair, the JK-4 Math Specialist promotes high-quality math instruction, fosters consistency across grades, and ensures strong vertical alignment throughout the program. Responsibilities
Instruction and Student Support
* Teach and co-teach math lessons in each grade during each cycle, supporting both small-group and whole-class instruction.
