The Mathematics Department seeks to hire undergraduate students to assist in grading assignments during the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Penn State and must remain in full-time status during their employment.
In this position, students will have primary responsibility as a Grader assisting the instructor with grading assignments and quizzes. To qualify for this position, applicants should have taken the math course for which they are grading in the past two years and received a B+ or higher.
Students who are hired will be assigned to a mathematics instructor. Students will receive the grading assignment and instructor name once the onboarding session through Shared Services is complete.

The Forensic Science program seeks to hire part-time FRNSC 411 Course Assistants for the 2025/2026 academic year. The successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
Interact with students and facilitate learning of laboratory concepts
Prepare and provide laboratory demonstrations, reference samples, mock case evidence, reagents, solutions, equipment, and supplies to students
Track, order, store and maintain equipment and supplies
Assist with creation, assessment, and grading of lab practicums, lab exercises, lab notebooks, case folders, and mock crime scenes
Maintain course attendance and laboratory entrance logs
Proctor written examinations and lab practicums
Monitor laboratory environment for safety and health issues
