Qualifications
GRADUATEASSISTANT GENERAL INFORMATION:
A limited number of graduateassistants are available through various departments and campus locations.
The selected candidates will be granted tuition waiver (18 credit hours per year) for one of Ottawa University's graduate programs, a partial meal allowance and a bi-weekly living stipend paid over 12 months. Renewals for a second year are based on the evidence of academic performance and quality execution of assigned duties.
International candidates are only eligible to pursue the on-campus MBA degree of the programs that are offered. International students must also be able to secure an F1 student visa and meet the international admissions criteria for acceptance into the Ottawa University MBA program.
Appointments are generally made to those students who have shown superior aptitude in their field of study as an undergraduate and who appear likely to render a high quality of service to the University through their appointment and service activities.
All GraduateAssistants must be eligible to work in the United States and present the proper documentation to the Human Resources Department prior to beginning their graduateassistantship.

Position Overview
School of Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Fellows (UGTFs) at the University of Kansas will support faculty instructors with active student engagement in undergraduate engineering courses. Position Overview
School of Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Fellows (UGTFs) at the University of Kansas will support faculty instructors with active student engagement in undergraduate engineering courses. 75% Assist full-time Testing Center staff in coordinating academic testing, including providing accommodations for KU students with disabilities by proctoring accommodated exams. Other duties related to testing can include:
Printing exams for students
Scanning exams for return to instructors
Scanning test cover sheets for electronic filing
Undergoing training for providing accommodations
Frequent correspondence with faculty, staff, students, and multiple academic departments on campus.
15% Assist SAC professional staff in accessible print production including the scanning and conversion of print-based materials into accessible formats.
5% Represent Student Access Center at information tables or other orientation events.
5% Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule
15-20 hours per week. Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some evening shifts until 8 p.m. available. Extended hours during finals: Testing Center hours are 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during finals week in the Spring and Fall semesters.

Position Requirements
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. UMKC Conservatory Academy/Bridges invites applications to join our teaching staff. The Academy complements the Conservatory's degree programs by bridging the national reputation and excellence of the Conservatory with the local musical needs of the Kansas City community. The Academy functions as a division within the Conservatory, providing non-credit preparatory performing arts education and community engagement programs for children and adults.
