The WeatherTech Innovation Lab is looking for passionate, creative, and curious students to staff the library's maker space. Do you enjoy crafts? The WeatherTech Innovation Lab serves as both a space for students to experiment and explore new technologies, but also a center for event programming and student group meetings. Lab Assistants are expected to help students familiarize themselves with lab equipment and lend a hand on projects when needed. The Lab regularly hosts events throughout each Semester to highlight Lab equipment and provide various experiences to further enrich campus life. In this position, you will be expected to help with the development, scheduling, and programming of these events. Lab Assistants will also be expected to maintain the space and equipment, including cleaning up after events or equipment usage, as well as maintaining an inventory of lab supplies.

Responsibilities:

May act as backup for other faculty assistants as needed.
On a rotation, relieves the Law School's front desk receptionist for breaks and lunch.

Music Moves Instructor (PT) - Youth Teaching Assistant

Summary: The Old Town School of Folk Music is seeking part-time youth teaching assistants for its Music Moves programs. This position serves as a mentoring opportunity for young folks (ages 16-24) aspiring to further develop their music and/or dance teaching skills. The Music Moves Youth Teaching Assistant collaborates with the Music Moves Manager and faculty to co-develop and co-deliver music and/or dance programming to elementary and high school students, and occasionally adults, primarily at community partner sites.
Schedule: Typically 2-3 days per week; Approximately 5-6 hours/week.
Location: Music Moves community partner sites located in south and west side neighborhoods.
Duties:
Co-designs and co-implements a sequenced and developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet the goals and desired outcomes of the program in coordination with the Music Moves Manager.
Builds relationships with students and community partner staff and administrators.
Works with the Music Moves Manager to communicate the vision and impact of the program for funding purposes.
Maintains a collaborative relationship with Music Moves community partner organizations.
Documents weekly attendance and other metrics to demonstrate program impact.
Supports various instructional needs, including classroom preparation, leading warmup, and providing hospitality as requested.
Prepares students for end-of-session performance, if needed.
Qualifications:
Background in West African and/or African diasporic cultural traditions.
2 years of performance experience preferred.
Successful candidates must be motivated, collaborative, and committed to youth and intergenerational exchanges.
At least one year of experience teaching in a large classroom setting preferred.
Can easily work in history and social context into instrument or dance instruction.
Experience with administrative/organizational tasks including scheduling, tracking activities and reporting is helpful as well as familiarity with Google Suite.
Instructor Hourly Pay Rates: $30/hour teaching rate and $20/hour training rate

What You Will Do
Interns are responsible for the successful execution of projects and daily process work for one of SCBs brokerage desks. This combination of project and process work allows interns to research a section of the industry to conclusion and engage in the day to day running of the business.

Position Summary
The mission of Learning Technology Solutions (LTS) is to empower faculty to design and deliver technology-enhanced education. LTS provides several services including professional development, course development, instructional technology support, and design services. In addition, we offer individual and group consultations on instructional design principles and the integration of technology into teaching. The Graduate Assistant will assist in the learning design department of LTS and will be instrumental in contributing to the learning design process as well as the LTS newsletters and any communication regarding educational technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Support the LMS migration from Blackboard to Canvas by assisting with course cleanup tasks, such as reviewing migrated course content, identifying formatting or accessibility issues, and making updates based on established guidelines.
* Use the internal ticketing system (TDX) to track tasks given by management and respond to emails received in the appropriate queue.
* Assist instructors in learning design consultations.
* Assist with designing and creating content for LTS's staff and student newsletters, including research, writing articles, and coordinating contributing writers.
* Assist with updating documentation related to instructional technologies, including, but not limited to: Blackboard Learn (Original and Ultra), Canvas, YuJa Panorama, Panopto, Echo360, and other 3rd party tools.
