JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in daily hotel operations within assigned department(s) including guest service, administrative support, and back-of-house tasks. * Observe and participate in the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. * Complete assigned projects and tasks as directed by departmental leaders. * Learn internal systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and brand service standards. * Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-departmental shadowing opportunities. * Provide support during peak service periods, special events, and other operational needs. * Gather data and provide feedback on hotel performance and guest satisfaction where applicable. * Uphold company values, professionalism, and hospitality service standards throughout the internship. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program related to Hospitality Management, Business, Tourism, or a related field. * Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. * Must be eligible to receive academic credit if required by school (if internship is for credit). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Interest in hotel operations and a passion for hospitality. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. * Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, etc.); experience with hotel management systems is a plus. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment. The Role AutoStore is searching for a Service and Support Intern at our North American headquarters in Salem, NH, for the summer of 2026. This is a 10 week, 40 hour per week internship starting in June of that year. The Service and Support Intern is a critical entry point into AutoStore's technical support ecosystem, offering a hands-on opportunity to develop advanced, mechanical engineering centric problem-solving skills in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. This internship provides an immersive experience in technical support, the application of mechanical engineering principles and best practices, and customer service excellence. The intern will support AutoStore's service operations by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware systems, and contributing to the company's knowledge management processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply mechanical engineering principles in a real-world technical support setting. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: * Diagnose and solve technical issues for internal and external customers, demonstrating advanced problem-solving capabilities.     Our internship is designed for candidates who are sales oriented and interested in sales or management. Our highly structured 10-12 week introductory course is paid and will provide candidates a working knowledge of the industry by exposing them to all aspects of the electrical distribution field through a combination of mentoring and on-the-job training. The program requires a strong commitment from each participant and encompasses, but is not limited to, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, counter sales, sales and interpersonal skills, customer relations and CED business philosophy.
