DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a State Park Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience in the marketing needs of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) and Presque Isle State Park. Within this role, you will assist Marketing Department staff with implementing the Quarterly Action Plan to include the development of press releases, and the development and updating of marketing collateral to promote seasonal programs. You will be tasked with developing power point presentations and assisting with planning and organizing special events. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be developing productive business relationships with targeted community groups in order to best promote the programs and services being made available at TREC and Presque Isle State Park.
