Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program.
Must meet job Education and Experience requirements
Preferred: At least 90 days within the DOD SkillBridge Program with a maximum of 180 days.
Willing to work assigned shift.
Ability to use a respirator
Need to be currently serving on Active Duty in one of the branches of the United States Armed Forces
Military Service members participating in a SkillBridge program are NOT eligible for wages or other benefits.
You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you: Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active Military service. Obtain approval from your unit commander. Agree that participation in the DOD SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Work from FES, drawing notes, HMS planning, to paint manufactured parts and aircraft parts and sub-assemblies.
Strip manufactured parts, aircraft parts and sub-assemblies.
Prepare surfaces to be painted by sanding, steaming, cleaning and conversion coating, as required.
Cover area on parts as required to be protected from Alodine process, paint or stripper with proper materials.
Set up equipment and operate all shop equipment and tooling.
Select and mix proper paint to the Manufacturer's specifications to meet job requirements. May be required to experiment with special paints and related products.
Set up and use spray gun for proper application of urethane, lacquer, enamel, water base and epoxy paints, as required.
Assist/train others, as required, in the performance of their job assignments.
Accurately log computerized labor data collection system for work orders, time and attendance tracking.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of related painting experience.
Able to work from designs or verbal instructions to perform layout design.
Familiarity with applicable manufacturer standards and company procedure governing the care and treatment of aluminum.
Able to use standard spray paint equipment: paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander and common hand tools.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must not be abnormally allergic to paint, paint stripper, solvents, primers or other paint related products that produce fumes or dust while using.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS (Post SkillBridge):
This opportunity is part of the DoD SkillBridge program and is unpaid during the SkillBridge training period. However, if you are offered a position following your SkillBridge internship, the salary you can expect typically falls between $19 and $37.31 per hour/per year.
This post-SkillBridge position is eligible for overtime and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, shift differential, or relocation assistance.
The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to: years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.

Job Description
This is a 2026 summer internship in our Manufacturing Engineering department. The intern will work with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and the production organizations to improve the installation instructions for aircraft completion's systems and components. The intern will identify non-quality risks and identify new checkpoints to avoid rework. In addition, the intern will work with stakeholders to create value stream maps for production installation and evaluate the most efficient sequence of installation and testing operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Demonstrate an understanding of the aircraft component production processes for detailed parts.
Identify parts manufacturing that will require new universal holding fixtures.
Propose processes to allow for agile manufacturing that are acceptable to quality assurance and supply chain tools and processes.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university seeking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or other engineering related field, and must reside in the United States.
Must be at least a sophomore status.
Strong capability to analyze and make synthesis
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft excel, word, power point,
3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, CATIA V5, or similar)
Strong communication skills, written and oral and the ability to create and clearly present new ideas or concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
COMPENSATION:

Our highly structured 10-12 week introductory course is paid and will provide candidates a working knowledge of the industry by exposing them to all aspects of the electrical distribution field through a combination of mentoring and on-the-job training. The program requires a strong commitment from each participant and encompasses, but is not limited to, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, counter sales, sales and interpersonal skills, customer relations and CED business philosophy.
