Job Overview
Applies design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. Responsibilities
Accurately and timely produces design elements consistent with project specifications

Actively participates in post-design activities through to construction completion

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of engineering drafting standards

Seeking a 4-year degree in engineering

Responsibilities
Assists with the corporate-wide Safety management program. Helps ensure government and company compliance and assists with the development and implementation of job-specific plans. Coordinates inspections with internal and external representatives and assists with the claims process.
Field/Management Support
Attends weekly subcontractor meetings to remain involved in project progress and safety matters, as appropriate.
Monitor safety efforts of subcontractors and Brinkmann employees.

Reviews documentation to ensure all required onsite records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.

Qualifications
Must be pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study.
Knowledge of construction safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements. Preferred.
Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skill.

Our Summer Internship Program is geared towards students interested in the manufacturing of custom cabinets, casework, and locker rooms. The Fabricator Internship is an hourly (non-exempt), full-time opportunity that runs from June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Fabricator Intern will work in all phases of fabrication for each of our unique projects specifically designed for our clients. The Fabricator has a direct impact on how each product is crafted and delivered to the client. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
