RESPONSIBILITIES • Uses survey CADD software to assist in preparation of mapping plats, maps, descriptions, ALTA surveys and other deliverables, Topographic Mapping, Digital Terrain Models (DTM's), and Point Databases. • Completes work tasks on time and within budget with quality as determined by supervisor. • Updates supervisor and project team on status of assigned work on regular basis. • Provides support as needed related to storage, transportation, assembly, operation and maintenance of survey equipment and vehicles. • Completes training and attends meetings as assigned. • Expresses a can-do attitude and willingness to learn; aims to complete project tasks and deliverables to a quality standard with a goal in proficiency. QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or equivalent; Current student with a survey or drafting emphasis; BS or AA preferred in related area of study; equivalent experience considered in lieu of formal education. • 0-2+ years of relevant experience. • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications and survey drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D). • Basic knowledge of MicroStation, TopoDOT, and Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred. • Drafting/CADD certificates a plus. • Demonstrates effective written and verbal skills. • Ability to multi- task and prioritize tasks effectively. • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment. • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities.
