PROGRAM DETAILS:
This position requires a commitment of 40 full-time hours per week, with availability during usual business hours (8AM-6PM ET), for the duration of a 10-week summer program: starting Tuesday, May 26th and ending Friday, August 7th, 2025. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or maintain data collection and evaluation documents.
- Engage with teams across Maximus to ensure education, awareness, and integration of Global Impact & Belonging efforts within our operations.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and familiarity with automation tools.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of topics (historic and contemporary) pertaining to Global Impact & Belonging and/or charitable giving is a plus.

* The purpose of the Service Internship II is to provide a cooperative work experience for post-secondary and high school students who are enrolled in a Diesel/Ag Equipment/Heavy Equipment Technology Program during the the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters and for the Summer of 2026.

* Begun training in an Agriculture Power/Technology, Diesel & Heavy Equipment or Diesel Technology program.
* A tool set appropriate for the work and schooling required.
* A passion to learn methods, tools, materials, and techniques to diagnose and repair diesel and agricultural equipment.
* An understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics and electrical systems and precision ag systems.
* Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with parts, sales and service personnel and customers.
* Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance.
* Acceptable Motor Vehicle status.

* Understanding the mission, vision, and values of KanEquip and the goals and expectations of the service department.
* Preforming pre-delivery set ups and inspections on new equipment and basic service work as assigned.
* Developing skills to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, and fuel systems.
* Working with online parts and service information systems
* Developing skills to complete reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner.
* Assisting other diesel technicians and other departments to bring value and customer service to our stakeholders.
* Engaging in training, mentoring, and feedback surveys

Graduate internship job in Wichita, KS
Lockwood Broadcast Group, Inc. permits individual stations to provide internship opportunities as may be deemed appropriate in the discretion of the Station General Manager. Internships should provide participants with an opportunity to observe and participate in the operations of the Station in a manner designed to further their understanding and appreciation of the operation of a broadcast television station and the broadcast industry generally.
In order to ensure that we comply with applicable employment laws and other Lockwood policies, internships must comply with the guidelines as outlined below.
* Internships must provide training opportunities similar to training that would be provided in an educational environment. Training opportunities may include observations of various operational functions of the Station as well as hands-on experience where appropriate.
* The internship experience is for the benefit of the intern. Individuals may be interested in a career in broadcasting or the media or may be pursuing a course of study in a related field.
* Interns should not displace or otherwise serve as a substitute for regular employees. Interns should work under the close supervision of existing staff.
* The Station should not derive an immediate advantage from the activities of the intern, normal operations may occasionally be impeded by the use of interns. Internships offer an excellent opportunity to educate individuals interested in the broadcast industry and the operations of television stations. Taking the time to explain how we operate, why we do things a certain way, the functions within the Station and the role of the Station in the community will further the educational goals of the internship.
* Interns are not entitled to employment at the conclusion of the internship.
* Interns are not entitled to wages for time spent in the internship. There are certain programs that offer stipends or other payment in connection with internships in the broadcast industry. Participation in such programs is at the discretion of the Station General Manager must be in accordance with the rules of such program.
* At the specific request of a Station employee, an intern may ride with such employee in a Lockwood or Station vehicle (excluding news ENG live trucks and satellite trucks). Under no circumstances may an intern operate any motor vehicle owned by Lockwood or Station, or ride in a news ENG live truck or satellite truck owned by Lockwood or Station.
* Interns must be over the age of 18 and are required to sign an Internship Agreement.
