Job Overview
The summer intern will have the opportunity to work on strategy and projects to demonstrate value of an oncology product approaching launch. They will gain exposure to HEOR, RWE and Medical Affairs teams at Genmab and will learn how HEOR can inform drug development and market access preparations at global and local level.
What You'll Do
* Conduct literature search/review re: unmet needs, treatment guidelines, impact of treatment on clinical, economic, patient reported outcomes.
* Lead HEOR research projects providing input on study design, data analysis and results
* Develop/Present (power point slides) on research-related topics to an extended or cross-functional team
* Assist in preparations for medical planning and launch planning as appropriate
* Assist in preparations for early scientific advice as appropriate.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
* PhD student who has completed course work towards a PhD degree in Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Pharmaceutical Policy or a closely related area.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate key insights into strategy / tactics

The Center for Inflammation & Lung Research (CILR) at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) at Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Creative and accomplished faculty candidates interested in basic and translational research into lung injury and regeneration, focusing on the areas of physiology, stem cell biology, or immunology, will be considered. The CILR is composed of basic, pre-clinical, translational, and clinical researchers who are interested in the pathogenesis of lung diseases. pdf Position Summary: The ResearchAssistant in the College of Science & Technology's Biology division will perform research in collaboration with the Boni Lab focused on mathematical modeling of response strategies to the current urgent problem in Africa of responding to the recent (2020-2021) emergence of artemisinin resistance on the continent.
These mathematical models are used to evaluate different response strategies when drug resistance levels are too high.
Many opportunities are available inside this program for the ResearchAssistant, including assembling data for different countries' epidemiological and drug-resistance situations, parameterization of country-level scenarios with all the assembled data, and building and/or visualizing additional models to make near-term and long-term malaria forecasts.

Our research group is currently building national-level mathematical models of malaria transmission for several African countries to forecast their drug-resistance situations several years into the future.

The Section of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at LKSOM provides inpatient consult service and outpatient hematology clinics for patients with classical as well as malignant hematologic disorders. The faculty teach clinical fellows, residents, medical students, and physician assistant students and participate in clinical and translational research. The physician-scientist will be a member of the Section of Hematology and have outpatient clinics focused on hemostasis and thrombotic disorders. He/She will practice out of the flagship Temple University Hospital, a 746-bed tertiary care facility with robust clinical hematology and oncology programs, that is adjacent to the Medical School.

pdf Position Summary: The ResearchAssistant in the College of Science & Technology's Biology division will perform research in collaboration with the Boni Lab focused on mathematical modeling of response strategies to the current urgent problem in Africa of responding to the recent (2020-2021) emergence of artemisinin resistance on the continent.
These mathematical models are used to evaluate different response strategies when drug resistance levels are too high.
Many opportunities are available inside this program for the ResearchAssistant, including assembling data for different countries' epidemiological and drug-resistance situations, parameterization of country-level scenarios with all the assembled data, and building and/or visualizing additional models to make near-term and long-term malaria forecasts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Our research group is currently building national-level mathematical models of malaria transmission for several African countries to forecast their drug-resistance situations several years into the future.

The Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) is seeking qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center has a vibrant and interdisciplinary research program focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of thrombosis and hemostasis and developing new therapeutic strategies for blood diseases.
The Section of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at LKSOM provides inpatient consult service and outpatient hematology clinics for patients with classical as well as malignant hematologic disorders. The faculty teach clinical fellows, residents, medical students, and physician assistant students and participate in clinical and translational research. The physician-scientist will be a member of the Section of Hematology and have outpatient clinics focused on hemostasis and thrombotic disorders. He/She will practice out of the flagship Temple University Hospital, a 746-bed tertiary care facility with robust clinical hematology and oncology programs, that is adjacent to the Medical School.

Candidate Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees, demonstrating the ability to develop an independent, extramurally funded research laboratory.
Must have an active research program in hemostasis, thrombosis, infectious disease models with emphasis on hemostasis and thrombosis, platelet biology and signal transduction, or regulation of coagulation.
Possess academic credentials for a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The successful candidate must have multiple publications in respectable peer-reviewed journals, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, and experience writing NIH grants. Experience in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students is welcome.
Physician-scientists must be BE/BC in Hematology and eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
