These mathematical models are used to evaluate different response strategies when drug resistance levels are too high. Many opportunities are available inside this program for the Research Assistant, including assembling data for different countries' epidemiological and drug-resistance situations, parameterization of country-level scenarios with all the assembled data, and building and/or visualizing additional models to make near-term and long-term malaria forecasts.
