During planting and harvest season there may be longer days in the field. Hiring Range: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00, DOE. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's of Science Degree in Agriculture related field * Experience in field plot research * Experience in farming and farm machinery * North Dakota Commercial Pesticide Applicator License, or the ability to obtain one. * Valid U.S. driver's license or the ability to obtain one. Preferred Qualifications: * Master of Science Degree in Agriculture related field * Machinery experience * Laboratory experience * Familiar with ND field crops * Farm equipment operation, maintenance and repair experience * North Dakota Commercial Pesticide Applicator License * Valid U.S. driver's license * CDL or the ability to obtain one Core Competencies * Experience in field plot research, farming or farm machinery * Familiarity with ND field crops * Machinery experience * Tractor, planter, plot combine, fork lift, mower, tiller, chemical application equipment * Farm equipment operation, maintenance and repair experience * Laboratory experience * Collecting, processing, and analyzing crops for quality and yield components and soil for chemical and physical properties, preferred.
