Position Summary
IE² at the University of Oregon is soliciting applications for its open applicant pool. Positions are limited duration, funding contingent post-doctoral orresearch appointments that are part-time or short-term, with contracts not to exceed one year, with the possibility of renewal up to a total of three years depending on program needs, funding, and performance. The Disability Early Intervention Secondary Transition & Youth (DESTNY) grant management unit houses five established, preexisting research and outreach entities within the University of Oregon, College of Education: The Secondary Special Education & Transition (SSET) research unit, the Center for Human Development (CHD), which houses the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), research and outreach in Early Intervention (EI), Oregon Career Information System (OR-CIS), and OregonResearch Schools Network (ORSN). Each of these units has tremendous capacity and impact through cutting-edge scholarship, leading personnel preparation programs, state-of-the-art technical assistance and outreach, the demonstrated capacity to engage in and disseminate effective tools and technologies, and the necessary support for managing the fiscal and reporting requirements of federally funded projects. Position Summary
The DESTNY Grant Management Unit at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its open research pool. Possible research areas encompass program development, statistical analyses covering all aspects of preparation of scientific paper, presentation, and grant application preparation, professional development of project staff, off-site research activities involving a variety of populations like individuals with developmental disabilities or non-English speaking groups, and the establishment of population databases essential for research and evaluation projects.
Research Associates will conduct independent research and participate on research teams.
ResearchAssistants will conduct research under the direction of Research Associates and participate on research teams.
