**Job Description**
As an Associate Research & Psychometric Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in large-scale educational assessment. **What does the 8- weeks involve?**

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
* Design, optimize, and run functional and translational assays to support discovery lead identification, characterization and mechanism-of-action of clinical candidates
* Lead data analysis, visualization, and interpretation of experimental findings
* Read and interpret scientific literature pertaining to the biology and pathophysiology of therapeutic programs to propose innovative solutions to address biological questions
* Clearly present data/ strategy to cross-functional project teams
* Maintain scientific documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks and internal study reports
* Collaborate with and manage external CROs to augment internal efforts in assay development and lead screening
* Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of experience or Master's Degree and at least 5 years of experience, or PhD and at least 2 years of experience preferably in cellular biology and/or antibody drug development
* A solid background of assay development for biochemical and cellular assays to support lead discovery and characterization including plate-based assays (ELISA, MSD, etc.), signal transduction assays, multi-color flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, western blots, qPCR, genetic manipulations, etc
* Experience with development of live cell imaging, confocal microscopy, and immunological functional assays a plus
* Must be a team player with ability to effectively collaborate in a project-focused, matrixed environment
* Highly adaptable, responsive, and accountable work ethic
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present results in small group settings
* Strong commitment to ethical standards
* Proficiency with FlowJo, Excel, GraphPad Prism and electronic lab notebook systems
