VWH is seeking to hire a Quantitative Research Intern to work with the firm's analytics and investment team. Department Summary
The Chemistry Department is known as a leader in research at UNT. Our faculty and graduate students successfully compete for research funds from both public and private sources (see below), publish their groundbreaking research in top scientific journals, and are frequently highlighted and interviewed in the media.
Although our research groups are rooted in the traditional subdisciplines of analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, much of our current research is interdisciplinary and spans the boundaries of two or more of these areas. The IES Research Institute is an academic research division embedded within the Emergency Medicine Department at John Peter Smith (JPS) Health Network, a public safety-net health system with a 3-year emergency medicine residency program. The goal of the Institute is to develop and support scholarly activity, research, and grants to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery for vulnerable emergency medicine populations through discovery and innovation. We use a team science approach and prioritize research that informs practice. We are a growing group supporting 15 core faculty members, a 3-year residency program with 45 residents, and fellowships in administration, academics, emergency ultrasonography, and street medicine, among others.

Richard W. Woodcock Pediatric Psychology Fellowship Post-Doc Program with emphasis in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
The Woodcock Institute is seeking one full-time psychology postdoctoral fellow for a 2 year appointment. Primary clinical activities include neurodevelopmental assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as other low incident developmental disabilities through interdisciplinary work at the Woodcock Autism Assessment Clinic, TWU multidisciplinary clinic and in collaboration with a community based hospital partnership. In addition, fellows will engage in ongoing neurocognitive research, presentation and publication opportunities, and are provided teaching opportunities and mentorship possibilities with psychology practicum students. The schedule will include 2 days a week at the TWU interdisciplinary/ autism clinic, 2 days a week at the community based hospital partnership, and 1 day a week to conduct research, submit publications/presentations, outreach, or participate in training opportunities. In consultation with supervisors at each setting, fellows will develop a tailored plan to address their specific training goals within these settings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in pediatric neuropsychological, cognitive, academic, and social/emotional assessment, as well as in the application of multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based intervention approaches for individuals with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to work well with families and effectively collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team. In addition to applied practice, this fellowship will provide opportunities for research. Fellows can participate in on-going research on site and in collaboration with Texas Woman's University and the Woodcock Institute. Fellows may develop individual research goals with the Training Director during orientation for data collection, presentations, and publications throughout the fellowship program.
