This newly created position is part of the departmental strategic plan to grow pharmacogenomic research at St. Jude within the next 5 years. With substantial institutional commitment in resources and space, this initiative aims to expand and accelerate research into the genomic basis of inter-patient variability in drug efficacy and toxicity. We are currently hiring and training qualified candidates (Researchers) to execute litter analysis in selected cities to create a baseline for litter assessment and generate insights and recommendations.
The resulting data will be used by cities and client partners to identify problem areas and generate the insights needed to optimize city infrastructure, influence local policy, adjust city's cleaning schedule, or start a dialogue with the local stakeholders (city representatives, local businesses, NGOs, schools).
