The successful candidate will help advance our client's industry leading ICFN late-stage clinical programs through the strategic application of cutting-edge bioinformatics approaches. Analyze various -omic-scale data generated from human subjects in clinical trials and other observational cohorts including RNA-Seq, Exome and Whole Genome Sequencing, high throughput proteomics, and multiplex flow cytometry in order to validate pharmacodynamics effects, confirm mechanism of action, and enable patient enrichment strategies. Integrate and mine large-scale external data sets to further our understanding of ICFN diseases and patient treatment options. Extract insights and generate hypotheses to be evaluated in future trials and to inform our discovery pipeline. Collaborate with bioinformaticians, statisticians, biologists, biomarker leads, and clinicians to design experiments. Implement statistical/computational analysis plans. Required Skills: Master or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, engineering, statistics, physics, molecular biology, genetics, or a similar discipline. Robust experience with statistical analysis required . Proficiency in using R and Bioconductor packages required . Experience in preclinical or clinical research preferred . Strong background in -omic (DNA, RNA, epigenetic, proteomic) data analysis and biological interpretation is a plus. Working knowledge of commercial and publicly available biological databases including NCBI, Ensembl, ArrayExpress/GEO and SRA is a plus.
