General Summary:
Under the direction of a portfolio manager or assistant portfolio manager, conduct research and make investment recommendations based on fundamental security analysis.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Graduate Assistant will assist in overseeing all aspects of operating a successful
intercollegiate athletic program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

We seek professionals who advance their own knowledge and understanding in how to engage across differences. This commitment is crucial as we support all students on campus. We have a strong commitment to supporting a welcoming culture within the Learning Communities team.
Learning Community Programs supports both a First-Year Seminar course as well as linked courses by college/major for First-Year students. Learning Communities and First-Year Seminars are both high-impact practices as identified by AAC&U. An average of 98% of First-Year students take the elective seminar and learning community courses. OHIO University Bobcats have been in First-Year Learning Communities for over 20 years. It is connected to their major/ academic program, not tied to their residential assignment.
The First-Year Seminar is co-facilitated by an instructor and a peer called a Learning Community Leader. In and outside of the classroom, the Learning Community Leader (LCL) is charged with facilitating the students' adjustment to Ohio University. The GA's primary role is to supervise the LCLs. There is also a senior student role that supports the LCLs and is called an LCL Coordinator. This position is also supervised by the GA.
The GA is supervised by the Assistant Director of Student Leader Engagement.
This position is a Campus Security Authority which means that GAs are mandated reporters for any reports of sexual misconduct.
