    Nursing Teaching Assistant/Adjunct Clinical Faculty The Undergraduate Nursing Teaching Assistant/Adjunct Clinical facilitates student centered learning. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Opportunities exist for part-time, non-benefited instructors to teach nursing laboratory courses and supervise student clinicals in the Associates and/or Practical Nursing Programs. Other responsibilities include submitting grades by the established deadline and other duties as assigned by the Dean of Current Emerging Technologies and/or the Assistant Dean of Current Emerging Technologies - Nursing Pathways. Required Competencies * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing * Current unencumbered North Dakota RN license * Minimum of two years of experience in nursing practice * Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups. * Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent written communication skills. * Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., electronic Calendar and E-mail, and strong Internet familiarity. Preferred Qualifications * Masters degree in Nursing or enrolled in a Masters degree Program * College teaching experience. * Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System * Experience with non-traditional teaching methods such as facilitating group work, use of inquiry-based and other active learning pedagogies, and/or contextualized instruction. This 8-month appointment is approximately 20 hours per week and begins September 2026, continues through April 2027, and has the possibility of being renewed for a second year. Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include: Testing and providing supervised exercise services at the Exercise Clinic Assisting with exercise physiology laboratory classes including competency testing Attendance at weekly GA meetings Maintaining office hours and availability to assist students with skills practice Supervision of Personalized Exercise Program (PEP) assessments and implementation Data entry for Exercise Clinic, PEP, and Department Databases Marketing efforts including working the EXS and CEP booth, speaking to high school and undergrad college students about the programs, and assisting in a needs analysis project for CEPs in the region Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include: Bachelor of Science degree, major in Exercise Science.
