As Golisano Institute launches a Buffalo campus, we seek faculty who identify as practitioner-educators, bringing real-world business experience and passion for student learning to our classrooms. We're hiring multiple full-time faculty to deliver Golisano Institute's integrated business curriculum to Buffalo's inaugural cohort of up to 75 students. This founding faculty team will collaborate to create an innovative and rich, applied learning environment and establish the culture for future cohorts and colleagues. Our faculty want to teach students at a pivotal point in their professional and personal development, advise and mentor a diverse set of students, and continually develop their own skills, especially their teaching practice, to advance student success.
This role requires collaboration across locations with a diverse community of students, colleagues, and external partners. Job Summary
The Department of Astronomy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer with expertise in teaching Astronomy. This is an academic year, benefited 2-year position that is renewable contingent upon performance, including eligibility for a full-time continuing appointment after four years of service.
We seek a dynamic educator who will contribute to our undergraduate teaching mission through high-quality instruction, innovative pedagogy, and active engagement with students. Essential Functions
Teach undergraduate courses in astronomy, including introductory general education courses and intermediate/advanced courses for majors.

Mentor undergraduate students and participate in departmental academic activities and events.

Salary Information
It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $65,550 and $127,607.

The low-end of the pay range in all faculty searches at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is the minimum salary for the rank included in the collective bargaining agreement between the University and the Massachusetts Society of Professors, UMass Amherst/MTA/NEA.
The high-end of the pay range reflects an increase above the median of salaries at this rank within the department for faculty who may have multiple years of faculty experience.

The Department of Kinesiology at UMass Amherst invites applications for a full-time, academic year (nine months), Lecturer faculty position to contribute and assist in the delivery of our undergraduate and graduate curricula with a focus in either biomechanics, movement neuroscience, or exercise physiology. With the support of the department mentoring program, the successful candidate will be able to teach 400 and 500 level courses in biomechanics, movement neuroscience, or exercise physiology. The candidate would also contribute to the expansion of the curriculum in the areas of sports performance, technology and data science.
The successful candidate will work within a dynamic department to deliver student-centered learning experiences using a variety of instructional approaches including interactive lectures, engaging classroom activities, laboratory instruction and design, and team-based learning approaches. This role emphasizes excellence in teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development within a collaborative and inclusive academic environment. The course load is equivalent to 3-4 courses per semester, with adjustments for large class sizes and assigned service work. Service work may include participating on department, school, and university committees, as assigned by the department chair.
Our department has a strong mentoring program for new faculty to support onboarding to teach the curriculum and help build exceptional teaching skills. This is supported by the following University programs including the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Instructional Design, Engagement, and Support (IDEAS), Office of Faculty Development (OFD), and the SPHHS Teaching Academy. Primary Functions:
Trocaire College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor position in the Veterinary Technology program. The ideal candidate will be a New York State-licensed veterinarian or veterinary technician who is a graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program. The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, fostering an engaging learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of students enrolled in the program.
The program offers both in-person and online courses, instructors should be comfortable engaging students in traditional classroom settings as well as virtual learning environments.
Essential Functions:
Develop and deliver course materials in accordance with the Veterinary Technology curriculum.
Provide instruction in lecture, laboratory, and/or clinical settings as assigned.
Assess and evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and practical skills assessments.
Maintain and update course materials, recordings, and assessments on designated learning platforms.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Engage students through active learning strategies and hands-on experiences.
Ensure compliance with AVMA accreditation standards in instructional delivery.
Provide academic support and guidance to students to foster their professional growth.
Collaborate with program faculty and staff to enhance course content and program quality.
Participate in faculty meetings, department meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduated from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary School (or equivalent) or Veterinary Technology Program
Must be a New York State-licensed veterinarian or a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) in good standing.
Maintains up-to-date immunization against infections and diseases related to the occupation of Veterinary Technician (e.g., pre-exposure rabies vaccination).
Maintain professional memberships as appropriate such as the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) and a state or local professional organization.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience or teaching experience preferred.
Commitment to student-centered learning and fostering an inclusive academic environment.
Proficiency with instructional technology and willingness to integrate technology into teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply the AVMA standards of accreditation and contemporary medicine.
Teaching experience in the post-secondary environment.
Experience with distance education or the willingness to learn how to work effectively in the virtual environment.
Experience with companion animals. Knowledge of or willingness to learn skills associated with large animals, exotics and laboratory animals.

Job Description
The School of Public Health and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (httr1://******************** is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer position (9-month appointment) in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences to teach in the area of Audiology. Opportunities exist for summer teaching, which would be compensated for in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The initial appointment period is two years with the possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-person teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels including participation in the AuD capstone process. Providing service to the department, university, community, and profession is also expected. This includes participation on committees, projects, and other activities that support the university, college, and departmental mission.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must hold a minimum of a graduate degree in Audiology, Hearing Sciences or a related field from an accredited university or college, with a PhD or equivalent preferred.
Candidates must possess the ability to teach clinically relevant courses[DG1] .
A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred.
A demonstrated record of teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level is required.
Additional Information
This position involves exercising considerable initiative, leadership, judgment, responsibility and decision-making.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Information
It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $65,550 and $114,893.

The low-end of the pay range in all faculty searches at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is the minimum salary for the rank included in the collective bargaining agreement between the University and the Massachusetts Society of Professors, UMass Amherst/MTA/NEA.
The high-end of the pay range reflects an increase above the median of salaries at this rank within the department for faculty who may have multiple years of faculty experience.
The specific pay for this position will be determined by the University based on consideration of all relevant factors when and if it decides to extend and offer of employment.
