Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provides appropriate level of instruction and quality instruction to students.
* Ensures the assessment of students learning outcomes per course.
* Submits, annually, to the Department Head or Division Head, the results of research done into a study of the local careers and industry regarding appropriateness of course/program content.
* Reports to the Registrar's office all grades and submits reports on a timely fashion.
* Attends all faculty meetings, professional development functions and University committees to which they have been assigned.
* Ensures that all electronic library resources are used for University work only.
* Maintains the posted hours for the purpose of student advisement and tutoring.
* Performs those duties designated by the Department Chairperson.
* Works with the librarians in the establishment and weeding of the library program and course collection development.
* Oversee compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations.
* Continuously oversee actions for improvements at campus level sited in the Faculty's Planning, Assessment, and Implementation For
* Participates in the self studies and committees conducted by the University.
* Participate in the new students' orientation.
* Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Ensure they are in compliance with Title IX of Education Amendments Act of 1972.

Responsibilities:

Monitor students needing remediation and provide support as necessary.
Faculty will be assigned students who require mentoring. Mentors are expected to maintain regular communication with their assigned students by sending standard check-in emails at least three times per term. Faculty should also remain informed about the academic support resources available to students and proactively refer or connect students to those resources as needed. Mentoring may be conducted face-to-face or virtually, depending on what best supports the student.
Participate in faculty and departmental meetings, as well as institutional or campus meetings and training, as appropriate.
Attend adjunct training and orientation sessions as required.
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree (Ph.D. preferred) in one or more of the subject areas listed above or closely related fields.
At least 2-3 years of college-level teaching experience in relevant academic areas.
A comprehensive CV or resume that clearly lists all courses taught and associated disciplines.
