Job Description This is a flexible, semester-based faculty position within the Bethel University Speech-Language Pathology program (Undergraduate and Master's Programs). The faculty member's primary role is to contribute to the program's mission of preparing competent entry-level Speech-Language Pathologists through academic instruction, clinical supervision, and limited student advising. The specific teaching assignment and load will be determined collaboratively with the Program Director, based on the candidate's availability and the specific needs of the undergraduate or graduate curriculum and clinic. This adjunct pool is being established to secure expert faculty for teaching and clinical supervision across our undergraduate and graduate SLP programs. What you'll do Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses (typically one course per semester as needed, including potential summer assignments), utilizing expertise in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Supervise on-campus clinical practicum experiences (approximately 5-6 hours per week for a 3-credit-hour load), focusing on clinical teaching and mentorship. Review student performance data, grades, and feedback to provide direct student assessment and collaboration in the remediation process for students under their direct supervision, ensuring timely support. Foster a collaborative learning environment by effectively interacting with students, clients/patients, faculty, and staff. Qualifications Skills: The successful candidate must possess expert knowledge of best practices in both didactic instruction and clinical supervision for SLP students. This expertise is vital for fulfilling contractual duties, which may include teaching undergraduate or graduate courses (typically one per semester, including summer, as needed) or supervising on-campus clinical practicum experiences (e.g., 5-6 hours per week for a 3-credit-hour load). The candidate must be skilled at utilizing student performance data to assess progress, provide feedback, and collaborate on remediation plans.     Job Description Graduate Assistant for the Exercise Physiology Department The University of Mary, 7500 University Dr in Bismarck, ND invites applications for a graduate assistant for the Exercise Physiology Department. This 8-month appointment is approximately 20 hours per week and begins September 2026, continues through April 2027, and has the possibility of being renewed for a second year. Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include: Testing and providing supervised exercise services at the Exercise Clinic Assisting with exercise physiology laboratory classes including competency testing Attendance at weekly GA meetings Maintaining office hours and availability to assist students with skills practice Supervision of Personalized Exercise Program (PEP) assessments and implementation Data entry for Exercise Clinic, PEP, and Department Databases Marketing efforts including working the EXS and CEP booth, speaking to high school and undergrad college students about the programs, and assisting in a needs analysis project for CEPs in the region Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include: Bachelor of Science degree, major in Exercise Science. Must meet eligibility requirements for admission to Graduate Studies at the University of Mary. Preference will be given to graduate students accepted into the University of Mary Master of Science Clinical Exercise Physiology Program (MSCEP). The University of Mary Exercise Physiology Department consists of the Exercise Science Program, Bachelor of Science degree, and Clinical Exercise Physiology Program, Master of Science degree. Both programs in the department involve a clinical emphasis in the curriculum, practice standards and domains published by the American College of Sports Medicine, research experience, and fieldwork/internship experience. The Department of Exercise Physiology also serves the community via a pro bono Exercise Clinic, staffed by graduate and undergraduate students and supervised by faculty.
