The Computer Science Department at the University of Idaho seeks a tenure track assistant professor commencing Fall 2025 to support the growth and development of our cybersecurity programs. We will consider candidates from any area of cybersecurity, with an earned PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related area, evidence of the ability to grow a cutting-edge, strong, externally funded interdisciplinary research program, and evidence of strong teaching capability. Cybersecurity is a priority for the Computer Science Department, the University of Idaho, and the State of Idaho. In 1999 the University of Idaho was one of the first seven institutions in the country to be designated an Academic Center of Excellence for Cyber Defense education by the National Security Agency. We have continued to make cybersecurity an important feature of our academic and research programs. Building on this decades long track record in cybersecurity we have recently created several new degree programs in cybersecurity, which are growing rapidly. We are hiring faculty to support this and future growth. The University of Idaho has a research center dedicated to cybersecurity research: the Center for Secure and Dependable Systems. Additionally, we have research centers dedicated to robotics: the Center for Intelligent Industrial Robotics (CI2R), data science: the Institute for Interdisciplinary Data Sciences, transportation: the National Institute for Advanced Transportation Technology, the Center for Advanced Energy Studies, and modeling: the Institute for Modeling Complex Interactions. Significant interdisciplinary research collaborations and well-established working relationships, including joint appointments, exist with National Labs and regional industry. The successful candidate will have an earned PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related area, have established a successful, collaborative research program, and evidence of strong teaching capability. Candidates are expected to maintain a successful, collaborative, externally funded research program and to support the teaching mission of the department at all levels and provide service to the university community. Startup funding, research support, and a reduced teaching load will be extended to help the new appointee. The University of Idaho is a land-grant research institution founded in 1889. The CS department has expertise in cybersecurity, robotics, software engineering, embedded systems, ML, data science, programming languages and databases. Job Description
Idaho State University's Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for two 9-month, full time, Visiting Assistant Professors in Anatomy and Physiology, preferably system level (e.g., cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal) to join our faculty team beginning August, 2026. The assistant professors will teach anatomy and physiology and make other contributions to the biology curriculum based on their area of expertise. Coordination of labs, student advising, and other duties will be part of the assigned teaching load. A demonstrated ability to engage undergraduate students in research is strongly preferred. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment, interest in active and collaborative learning, and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment are all expected features of successful candidates. Ideal candidates will have a focus on student success and foster an engaging learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of educational goals.

Graduates of this program will be prepared for licensure in the practice of clinical psychology, which takes many forms including, but not limited to, psychotherapy/counseling, psychological and cognitive assessment, and program administration.
Description of Position
NNU's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is seeking to fill a part-time, associated faculty position in the PsyD department beginning Fall 2025. This faculty member will contribute to the PsyD program through teaching, supervising research, and mentoring students. We are seeking candidates with expertise in clinical skills, assessment, research methods, or other relevant areas of psychology.
Essential Functions:
Teach at least one class per semester, with flexibility to distribute a minimum of 14-18 credits (.58-.75 time) annually across fall, spring, and summer terms based on individual preference.
Develop and update syllabi to align with accreditation standards and program outcomes.
Supervise PsyD students in their clinical work as a licensed clinical psychologist, providing mentorship and oversight of clinical competencies.
Guide doctoral students through the dissertation process.
Participate in program curriculum revisions.
Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and development.
Attend and contribute to PsyD faculty and committee meetings (approximately twice monthly).
Participate in PsyD student interviews and PsyD program events.
Model and uphold ethical, professional, and cultural competencies in alignment with APA accreditation standards and NNU's mission.
Foster a supportive learning environment that integrates faith, academic excellence, and professional preparation
Perform other duties as assigned
All doctoral classes are held in the evening, beginning at 4:00 PM.

Workload and Compensation
This part-time faculty position requires a minimum of 14 credits annually, which can be spread across fall, spring, and summer terms based on individual preference.
Credits beyond 14 per year will be considered overload and compensated accordingly.

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology or a closely related field from an APA-accredited program.

Job Description
The Department of History at Idaho State University (******************** invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor. The appointment will begin in the fall semester 2026 and is renewable for up to three years. The geographic and chronological focus for this position are open, but preference will be given to scholars whose work is global in nature and addresses the history of medicine. The candidate will broadly contribute to the Department's dynamic undergraduate and graduate curriculum, including general education history courses, established lower-division courses, and upper-division courses in their field of specialization. Idaho State is currently developing an interdisciplinary certificate in the medical humanities, and it is anticipated that the candidate will contribute courses toward it.

The successful candidate will teach three courses each term (fall and spring semesters). Service duties may include department-level program assessment and other committee work.

This campus-based position requires a 2/2 teaching load (2 3-credit classes per semester, with the possibility to buy out of teaching load) and engagement in multiple teaching modalities (in-person, hybrid, and online) to meet diverse student needs.

The School of Kinesiology is dedicated to advancing knowledge of lifelong health, physical activity, and sport through excellence in teaching, innovative research, and high impact service.
The School of Kinesiology employs 20 full-time faculty, a team of dedicated adjunct faculty, and three professional staff members. Currently, the school services over 950 undergraduate and graduate students through undergraduate programs in Kinesiology and K-12 Physical Education and Health, graduate programs in Athletic Leadership (MAL), Athletic Training (MAT), Kinesiology (MK and MSK-non thesis and thesis tracks), and a transdisciplinary Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (a collaboration between Colleges of Engineering and Health Sciences, with curriculum tracks in biomechanics, human performance, and mechanobiology). Further, curriculum in Kinesiology supports the neuroscience program, in conjunction with biology and psychology, that presents additional collaborative opportunities. The Center for Biomechanics and Orthopaedic Research, and Human Performance Lab are housed in the School of Kinesiology. Idaho is an NIH IDeA state, and Boise State University participates in IDeA programs, operating two Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBREs); one in cellular and molecular research and one devoted to development of biomedical devices. In addition, the state of Idaho also has an INBRE that offers wonderful opportunities for students.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in Exercise Physiology or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered, with the expectation that the doctoral degree will be completed by the start date of the appointment (August 2026).
Established record or demonstrated potential for an active research agenda, including publications and presentations.
Established record or demonstrated potential for successful teaching at the college/university level
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior mentorship of graduate or undergraduate students in research
Postdoctoral research experience and/or demonstrated success with grant writing
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification or the knowledge and willingness to pursue certification

Salary and Benefits:
Salary starts at $75,000, is dependent upon rank and track, and is commensurate with experience.
Our standard faculty contract is a 9-month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly, renewable contract. More information about faculty contract and work days is available here.
