One of our top clients in higher education is looking for 2 individuals to join their team as an Assistant Professor / Program Faculty, one part-time (20 hours/week) and one full-time (40 hours/week) for their Physician Assistant program!
Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, the Assistant Professor / Program Faculty teaches the prescribed didactic and clinical curriculum to Physician Assistant students and evaluates their progress. Also actively participates in administrative duties in the didactic and clinical year, as well as program related duties such as admissions, program evaluation and program reports. Under the direction of the Program Director, the faculty member may be assigned as the team lead for certain aspects of the program.
They are compensating $60K/year for the part-time role and up to $145K/year for the full-time role. Both roles are eligible for their full benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be responsible for or actively participate in the processes of:
Developing, reviewing and revising as necessary the mission statement, goals and competencies of the program
Selecting applicants for admission to the PA program
Providing student instruction
Evaluating student performance
Academic counseling of students
Assuring the availability of remedial instruction,
Designing, implementing, coordinating, evaluating curriculum
Evaluating the program
Develops and implements instructional methodologies for achieving pre-approved course objectives
Plans, presents and evaluates prescribed curriculum
Develops and implements methods of student evaluation.
Evaluates and monitors student progress
Counsels students with academic problems
Refer students with academic, behavioral or professional issues to the director, faculty, or program committee.

* Conduct or organize professional development workshops for TAs and part-time lecturers at least twice per semester
* Conduct observations of teaching of all TAs each semester
* Convene TAs by program and review the curriculum and achievement of learning outcomes
* Collaborate with department chair and language program directors on enrollment trends, staffing needs, assigning courses to TAs according to programmatic needs.

COMPENSATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Graduate Assistant is a live-in residential education opportunity in an upperclassmen apartment community. The purpose of this assistantship is to provide the individual an opportunity to apply and practice theory learned in the classroom.
The Graduate Assistant under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Housing & Residence Life, is responsible for the coordination and development of the residence program within his/her living area. RESPONSIBILITIES
(Approximately 20 hours per week)
1. Residence Life Leadership:
● Support Resident Advisor selection process
● Attend 6 Spring Training sessions on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30 pm

● Communicate custodial and maintenance needs to facilities services personnel and/or housing, and monitor progress
● Assume direct responsibility for apartment programming fund
● Maintain regular office hours
4. Professional Growth:
● Attend Residence Life staff meetings and co-labs as directed to participate in Residence Life planning as well as staff development
● Attend Student Development Divisional meetings (bi-weekly)
● Schedule regular one-on-one meetings with Assistant Director of Housing & Residence Life
TIME COMMITMENTS
The Graduate Assistant has daytime meetings, daily assignments, and the responsibility of planning a weekly schedule, which includes the following:
● Attending Residence Life staff meetings, retreats and trainings.
● Attending bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with their direct supervisor.
● Maintaining scheduled office hours in the Residence Life office or apartment office.
The Graduate Assistant is also expected to be available on weekends during which special events are schedule (i.e. Check-in, Check-out, and August Training). It is expected that the Graduate Assistant will have a weekly schedule on file with his/her supervisor.

The role is designed based on an apprenticeship model where Graduate Assistants are invited into many departmental processes to both observe, learn alongside, and contribute. RESPONSIBILITIES:
