Job Description LearningWorks AfterSchool serves academically low-performing students in grades Pre-K through 5th in 11 elementary schools in Southern Maine. Students participate in hands-on engineering design challenges that embed literacy, math, and social emotional learning, to build key skills for school success: academic confidence, taking initiative, problem-solving, communication, and perseverance. Eligible students are identified collaboratively by LearningWorks Afterschool Directors, Site Coordinators, and school staff. LearningWorks Afterschool is funded primarily through 21st Century Community Learning Center grants, and is offered in partnership with local school departments. LearningWorks AfterSchool serves academically low-performing students in grades Pre-K through 5th in 11 elementary schools in Southern Maine. Students participate in hands-on engineering design challenges that embed literacy, math, and social emotional learning, to build key skills for school success: academic confidence, taking initiative, problem-solving, communication, and perseverance. About the Opportunity Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies invites applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach in the Master or Professional Studies Analytics, located on-ground in Portland, ME. Responsibilities: Instructional areas included, but are not limited to, analytics, with particular expertise in probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, , database management systems, leadership and risk management in analytics, business support and predictive analytics. The mission of the Master of Professional Studies in Analytics program is to foster foundational analytics skills among working professionals, including preparing data, conducting data analysis, forecasting, optimization, data visualization, and data storytelling. This degree prepares students for entry and mid-level roles in analytics, such as data analyst, data specialist, database analyst, program analyst, research analyst, or research associate. These roles are general analyst roles and are not specific to any particular professional domains or disciplines (e.g., business, marketing, and engineering). The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linked to professional applications in the workforce.
