Job Description
Teaching Assistants provide support to the Instructor and participants on entry level programs from interns to associates. All our case studies and workouts have worked solutions. Assist the HRIM faculty, staff, and students with lab organization, ordering, inventory and cleanliness. This position is specifically responsible for assisting the Senior Technical Assistant with ordering ingredients/equipment as needed along with the overall cleanliness/organization of the kitchen, dining/classroom and stockrooms. JOB DUTIES
* Assist with ingredients, equipment and supplies.
* Clean (sweep/mop) kitchen floors of food, trash, etc.
* Ensure that all refrigeration units are kept sanitary, clean, and organized by daily class needs.
* Routinely conduct inventories of all stockrooms, refrigerators, and freezer units.
* Report all inventory results and any safety or other lab issues to HRIM faculty and/or staff.

JOB SUMMARY:
A substitute teaching assistant is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher with providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teaching assistant. Substitute teaching assistants must assist with maintaining classroom control and discipline. In some cases, substitute teaching assistants may be required to complete a daily report or evaluation to communicate any pertinent information resulting from the day's events. Substitute teaching assistants must have teaching capabilities and be able to follow oral and written instructions. Establishing effective working relationships with staff and students is very important.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

6th Floor Commons / Reception Area
Front desk coverage (including reception and answering/ directing telephone inquiries) for evenings and weekends;

Work with IT to troubleshoot and assist presenters with audiovisual and classroom issues;
