Opportunity Highlights
Qualified candidates will be BE/BC in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience/expertise in Breast Pathology. Receive a UCSF faculty position with protected off-service time for research/academic interests within a NCI designated comprehensive cancer center. The academic appointment will be at the rank of Health Science Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on level of experience and qualifications.

The educational programs include fellowships in breast surgical pathology, general surgical pathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, gynecologic pathology, genitourinary and neuropathology.
Competitive compensation package including two incentive plans plus comprehensive benefits, including multiple retirement offerings - tremendous pension program, 403B, 457B, and relocation package of $150,000.
The total negotiated salary and appointment rank for this position will include the base salary plus the negotiated component, determined at the time of the offer and commensurate with the applicant's experience and training. Base salary range for this position is $92,100-$360,000.

YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our mission. Your role includes:
Assisting in teaching at various East Bay locations from 1:30 - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday during programming.
Creating a nurturing and engaging environment for the students to grow and learn.
Assisting in the delivery of engaging, fun, hands-on STEM activities at local elementary schools in the afterschool and summer setting.
Read the facilitator guide for the science project and coordinate with the Head teacher ahead of class time regarding the project for each class and how you can best assist.
Lead attendance taking for each class
Take photos during class to provide to the Head Teacher who will share with the parents/caregivers.
Instilling the 6 C's: Curious, Committed, Confident, Careful, Creative, and Changemakers mindset in your students.
Promoting social-emotional learning and embracing diversity by actively building relationships with students, focusing on positive personal development and individual strengths
Promote SAfG events among various stakeholders
Assisting in fostering positive partnerships with school administrators.
Assisting with the assembly and transportation of STEM supplies
Other Programmatic Support as needed:
Being a team player by attending meetings, trainings, and supporting program-related projects.
Support program-related events, STEM kitting and marketing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A qualified candidate will possess a combination of the following education and/or equivalent experience:
College-level coursework, professional training, or experience in one or more of the following fields: education, early childhood education, museum education and/or a STEM field.
A minimum of one year of experience caring for, teaching, or supporting children in some capacity

Mission Bit is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that inspires youth of color to explore the world of STEM with project-based computer science education that embraces their identities. We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including biweekly, semester-long introductory coding courses.
The role
As a TA for the Intro to Game Design class, you'll promote a welcoming and supportive class community, foster productive collaboration, track student progress, and help students realize their potential.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Culinary Services and Hospitality and following established procedures, performs a Culinary Academy Teaching Assistant function. Job performance contributes to the achievement of the Kneaded Culinary Academy's goals. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
Assists with gathering equipment and ingredients for Culinary Academy classes. Loads equipment and ingredients before classes and unloads equipment and ingredients after classes.
Assists with set-up and breakdown of tables, mobile kitchens, canopies, and other equipment needed to facilitate Culinary Academy classes.
Maintains clean, safe kitchen(s), dining room(s). Including, but not limited to, cleaning tables & chairs, restocking supplies, washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Assists Culinary team in helping students to develop culinary skills, job readiness skills, and professionalism.
Assists in teaching students of the Culinary Academy, on and off campus, including communicating with candidates, interviewing prospective students, teaching the curriculum, assessing students for program completion, and supporting students after program completion.
Provides direct service and group facilitation for disenfranchised youth and other diverse populations.
Assists with recruiting and enrollment, as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Assessment will work with various areas of the department to provide assessment of activities, programs and services. Through data collection, analysis and reporting, information will be provided to staff and departments in Student Union, Inc. area to drive improvements in our various operations. This position will also aid in assessing learning outcome sand experiences provided for SU student employees. The level of analysis for this role does not rise to the level of scientific or research-based scrutiny but provides solid data and results which can be interpreted accurately.
Essential Functions and Tasks
* In conjunction with direction from department and area leadership, conduct assessments (qualitative and quantitative) of Student Union Inc. programs, operations and services.
* Create a regular calendar of assessments for the department; work with department leaders on timing, methodology, and incentives for assessment.
* Compile and analyze data against benchmarks, trends, historical data.
* Create analysis and results in user-friendly formats for utilization and decision-making.
* Work with Student Affairs in aligning Student Union, Inc. assessments with division goals and directives.
* Participate in department staff meetings, organization-wide trainings and development activities.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
* Experience in computer applications such as: Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Ability to be organized, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of program policies and procedures and ability to manage situations which require resolution and problem solving.
* Experience with assessment methods, analysis, data collection, interpretation, and results.
Minimum Qualifications and Specifications
* Must be a matriculated SJSU graduate student and continuously enrolled at least half-time during the academic term.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Culinary Services and Hospitality and following established procedures, performs a Culinary Academy Teaching Assistant function. Job performance contributes to the achievement of the Kneaded Culinary Academy's goals. Performance of the typical responsibilities and duties requires the ability to perform the job duties, involving job-related matters generally of limited complexity.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
Assists with gathering equipment and ingredients for Culinary Academy classes. Loads equipment and ingredients before classes and unloads equipment and ingredients after classes.
Assists with set-up and breakdown of tables, mobile kitchens, canopies, and other equipment needed to facilitate Culinary Academy classes.
Maintains clean, safe kitchen(s), dining room(s). Including, but not limited to, cleaning tables & chairs, restocking supplies, washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Assists Culinary team in helping students to develop culinary skills, job readiness skills, and professionalism.
Assists in teaching students of the Culinary Academy, on and off campus, including communicating with candidates, interviewing prospective students, teaching the curriculum, assessing students for program completion, and supporting students after program completion.
Provides direct service and group facilitation for disenfranchised youth and other diverse populations.
Assists with recruiting and enrollment, as needed.
Exercises good judgment, remaining calm and deescalating conflict when appropriate.
Assists in reviewing curriculum, planning lessons, and development of new curriculum as needed.
Assists with Kneaded Bakery and Catering as needed.

Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes.
