The Graduate Assistant for Game Operations will serve as the primary point of support for event management needs and will work closely with the Director of Athletics and the Game Operations team. Graduate assistant compensation/benefits include a Graduate Tuition discount (100%). The Graduate Assistantship is an approximately 20-hours-per-week position. The Graduate Assistantship is a 10-month position (July 1st - April 31st). Graduate assistants must be enrolled full-time in a Warner University graduate program. Responsibilities (Athletic Game Operations): Plan, organize, and provide leadership for all athletic game operations, including game-day logistics, facility preparation, and event execution. Assist in recruiting, organizing, and supervising a team of game-day staff and volunteers, including operations assistants, ticketing personnel, concession workers, and other essential event support roles. Coordinate the development and distribution of publications, marketing materials, and promotional content related to athletic events and game-day experiences. Assist in planning and supporting major athletic events, such as season openers, tournaments, Senior Day recognitions, Homecoming athletic events, and special game promotions. Manage ticketing operations for all athletic events, including tracking attendance and generating post-event reports, while maintaining an updated master schedule of all home competitions. Support the execution of themed athletic events and awareness games (e.g., Military Appreciation Night, Cancer Awareness Games, Heritage Celebrations, Faith & Family Nights). Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and successful athletic operations. Qualifications: Strong support for Warner University's mission, vision, and core values, including a commitment to Christian character and servant leadership. Bachelor's degree required and must be enrolled full-time in a Warner University graduate program. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a diverse environment; demonstrated leadership and management skills are essential. Ability to lead student workers and volunteers in the coordination and execution of athletic events that engage the campus community. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Working Relationships: The Graduate Assistant for Game Operations is a member of the Department of Athletics and reports directly to the Athletics Manager for Game Operations & Ticketing (or designated supervisor).
