The Innova Teaching Assistants will work directly with students in the classroom to ensure students have access to strong individualized instruction. Essential Functions Required Education, Experience, Technology and Skills
Applicants must possess an MSW from a CSWE accredited program. Two years post-MSW practice experience is required. Summary:

* Teach THR 101 Intro to Theatre/Drama, which consists of three on-campus contact hours per week per section, plus office hours, course preparation, and student assessment.
* Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus, goals, and objectives.
* Design, administer, and grade essays, examinations, speeches, and applicable projects to accurately assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus.
* Provide clear documentation of student progress through regular, frequent, and timely feedback.
* Complete academic warnings and midterm progress reports as necessary.
* Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and actively engage students.
* Contribute to general education program assessment of student learning outcomes based on signature assignments in course.
* Maintain regular on-campus office hours to meet one-on-one with students.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
* An MFA in Theatre, Dramaturgy, Directing, or related area, or a Ph.D. in Theatre, Performance Studies, Literature, Criticism or related area at the time of appointment.
* Experience teaching theatre history, dramatic literature, text analysis, or directing.
* College or University teaching experience strongly preferred.
* Experience using a variety of teaching strategies and tools.
* Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to effectively communicate across a wide variety of mediums.
* Ability to be sensitive to and respond to needs/concerns of students, faculty, college staff and the public.
