Quarterly remuneration for 5-credit lecture class is $6,418.75 - 7,824.65. Compensation is prorated based on type and duration of assignments. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.

Essential Functions
Typically, part-time faculty in Mathematics teach on campus, as dictated by program need, course schedule, and enrollment demand. Most classes meet daily, though there are some that meet twice per week onsite. In addition, part-time faculty are expected to be available to students periodically outside of class; to engage students actively in their own learning; to maintain high standards regarding course content; provide students with timely feedback on their course work and examinations; and to adhere to program assessment practices and policies. Job Expectations
Curriculum in the school of Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) is based on undergraduate certificates and bachelor's degree completion curriculum comprised of 4-credit and 8-credit offerings, and capstone work that may include internships or individual study. Courses and programs are offered online, in-person, or in hybrid formats. All curriculum includes synchronous meetings for at least half of the class instruction time. Synchronous sessions occur in the evenings or on weekends (Pacific Time). Faculty development opportunities are provided to help faculty increase skills in online teaching and curriculum design.
Evergreen uses narrative evaluations in lieu of grades, and faculty are generally responsible for evaluating 25 students/quarter in each class. Faculty support students with informal advising as they reflect on their learning processes and develop their own areas of academic concentration.

We are interested in helping students develop interdisciplinary approaches to critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration across the curriculum. Primary duties include:
