Department: Temp Center Salary/Grade: TMP/01 CTD Temporary Summer Residential Teaching Assistant CTD Academic Summer Camp at Northwestern University Residential Teaching Assistants (RTAs) supervise and support one group of 10-14 residents in the residence hall. As role models, RTAs build a safe, nurturing and fun environment for students. They promote the academic and social success of students by running activities, leading study sessions, and supervising on-campus and off-campus events. Auxiliary Residential Teaching Assistants (ARTAs) supervise the arrival and departure of students on the airport shuttle on opening and closing days. ARTAs support students when RTAs are scheduled for time off. All residential staff complete student supervision duties to support the residential program, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner supervision. RTAs live among their residents and have rotating overnight responsibilities.
