Job Summary As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of vehicle repairs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of various types of vehicles by providing expert services. The Automotive Technicians also advise customers on proper vehicle maintenance and selection based on their specific vehicle needs. As an Automotive Technician, you must be confident and capable of performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
Conducting visual inspections of the vehicle for signs of wear or damage
Vehicle diagnostic and repairs
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Using proper equipment for fluid services such as coolant, brake, & transmission
Applying lubricants to various vehicle components as needed
Complete mandatory vehicle inspection forms during oil changes and repairs
Communicate vehicle repair recommendations effectively with service advisor
Perform all tire services including rotates, repairs and replacements
Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ years of working automotive service experience
Technical or vocational training courses in automotive repair is beneficial and or recommended but not required
Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guest.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
* Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
* Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
* Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
* Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
* Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
* Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications:
* Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
* 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
* ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
* Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
* Meet or exceed hourly goals
* Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
* Professional appearance and strong communication
* A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
* Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
* Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
* Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
* Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
* Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
* Drive manual transmissions vehicles
* Efficiently navigate a computer

Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized.
Use Echo System / Echo services and vehicle information
Direct the vehicle into the bay
Place fender covers on the vehicle
Perform light check and check/fill automatic transmission fluid(when applicable), condition and level of oil, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid, coolant, battery electrolyte
Remove and check emissions components: Replace top-side oil filter, when applicable. air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap. Deliver emissions components to center manager for customer presentation. when applicable Install emissions components
Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions
Perform additional services, as needed, perform final safety and quality check
Record information on Work Order
Other Duties and Responsibilities In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms. Crew members must attend crew meetings and run errands as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor. Job Qualifications

Drive vehicle out of the bay to customer pickup area, Present vehicle to customer
