* Negotiate contracts with customers.* Maintain records of business transactions and product inventories, reporting data to companies or government agencies as necessary.* Arrange for transportation or storage of purchased products.* Arrange for processing or resale of grain.* Work with customers; update them on market trends, current grain quotes, grain programs, and purchasing grain.* Form and execute strategies for positioning, buying and selling grain* Perform market analysis and formulation of corresponding commodity position strategy* Communicate bid changes and closing bids to customers.* Work closely with Grain Marketing personnel in exchange of information.* Resolve issues and disputes with accounting, transportation, shippers and buyers.* Monitor the macro-trends of financial markets and the global economy that can impact the respective commodity prices in the short, medium and long term.* Identify & develop customer base and create opportunities to increase market share for procuring grain from customers.* Report, type, and enter all purchasing contracts quickly and accurately.* Guarantee the reliability of the information obtained from external sources and exceed the pre-established parameters for commercialization set by the company, aiming for the maximization of profits in the operations.* Know and have a solid understanding of current and possible future policies, practices, trends.* Unloading trucks and transfer of grain using a skid loader, pay loader or other equipment.* Capable of operating inside a storage building.* Operate yard tractors to hook onto containers for loading and storage.* Capable of operating outside under potential adverse weather conditions.* Facility housekeeping is required, using a broom or shovel to clean the work areas of dust and grain, moving it to the proper disposal area.* Working in confined space areas with a respirator, fall protection or both may be required.* May be exposed to airborne grain and dust particles.* Must be able to work comfortably from heights (up to 150’) and in various weather conditions that may persist.* Perform other duties as assigned by management
