Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare meals and food items, while observing sound health and sanitation practices such as proper hand washing, avoiding cross contamination, monitoring food temperatures and proper sanitation of utensils and cooking surfaces. Complete temperature or stock logs. Responsible for quantity and quality of food served in restaurant. Maintain and operate kitchen equipment properly. Organize walk-ins and storage areas, monitoring stock levels of food items. Wash dishes, sweep floor, bus tables, handle trash collection and mop floors as assigned throughout shift. Load and unload delivery trucks and handle inventory using FIFO rotation method. Ensure kitchen is clean and stocked at all times. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Good oral communication skills. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior cooking and serving experience working in fast food or a restaurant preferred. Current Food Handlers card. Preference given to Hualapai Tribal members. Working Conditions: Kitchen environment with exposure to heat. Must be able to work extended periods while standing.
