Grand Canyon University's Police Department is seeking full time Seasonal Police Officers to ensure the safety and security of the GCU campus. The GCU Police Department performs general and specialized police work involving the enforcement of laws and ordinances, crime prevention, and other community services. GCU Police Officers serve a very positive and supportive campus community.
What you will do:
Patrols assigned areas of Grand Canyon University owned properties, by automobile, foot or bicycle, for the prevention of crime and enforcement of all applicable criminal, traffic, and liquor laws and City Ordinances.
Responds to calls for service involving crimes such as thefts, robberies, assaults, homicides, and narcotics violations. Responds to all calls for service including those that do not involve crimes but are civil or societal issues requested police presence.
Secures the scene of a crime; makes arrests; books suspects. Prepares reports to accurately document information.
Responds to hazardous materials incidents and traffic accidents; investigates traffic accidents; detects impaired drivers; administers first aid; directs traffic and requests medical assistance.
Participate in problem-oriented policing efforts by identifying problem areas, recommending and implementing solutions, and monitoring the results. Handle hostage negotiations; performs suicide prevention interventions; transports mentally ill patients.
Serves court orders (e.g., subpoenas), arrest warrants, and mental health orders.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you need:
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years as a Police Officer. (At the discretion of the Chief, years of service can be waived.)
Must have Arizona Post Certification, either active or inactive. Must continuously meet all requirements and standards of AZ POST.
Must have valid Arizona Driver's License and be insurable.
Ability to obtain and maintain ACJIS Terminal Operator's Certification.
Must successfully pass a physical exam, polygraph test, psychological assessment, physical agility test, background investigation, and drug test.
Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week; overtime, holiday, weekend and shift work (days, swings or graveyard shifts).
Occasional risk includes physical hazards from violent, aggressive and hostile people, a variety of weapons, bodily fluids, sharp objects, traffic, drugs and drug paraphernalia and civil litigation due to performance of duties also creating high stress situations.

Course: Manufacturing Specialist Foundation
This course is designed to provide the essential knowledge and skills necessary for a manufacturing specialist in the key areas of work-place safety, Standard Operating Procedures (i.e. SOP), Structured Workflows, Process Monitoring, and Process Analysis of the wafer fabrication process. By covering topics such as OSHA regulations, gown room protocols, wafer manufacturing process flow, production quality (i.e. die and line yields), lean manufacturing, metrology, and statistical process control (SPC), the students will be equipped with a good overall understanding of the wafer fabrication process and how the microprocessor devices are created within the semiconductor industry. The topics covered will provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process which will allow them to quickly transition and be very effective in their new role as a manufacturing specialist.

The Arizona Water for All (AW4A) program works with national and local partners to improve water security and engagement in water decision-making amongst households in water-insecure areas of the state.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will investigate the role of Modular, Adaptive, and Decentralized (MAD) water system in improve water security for rural communities in Arizona that are not connected to large municipal water systems. This research will generate findings directly applicable to improving the water security of households in the state of Arizona and the southwest United States, with wider relevance both nationally and globally. The ideal candidate will be a social scientist with interest or research experience in: the causes and effects of water insecurity in rural areas; the importance of operations and maintenance in sustainable water service delivery; the role of regulation in technology adoption in the water sector.
The Arizona Water Innovation Initiative is a statewide project led by the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory. Through this initiative, ASU works with industrial, municipal, research, agricultural, tribal, and international partners to rapidly accelerate and deploy new approaches and technologies for water conservation, efficiency, monitoring, forecasting, decision-making, policy, and equitable distribution. AWII's mission is to drive a thriving water future through discovery, innovation, and action for the benefit of all of Arizona. The postdoc will work directly with Dr. Patrick Thomson and be part of a dynamic research team at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change (SHESC) led by Professor Amber Wutich. Grand Canyon Theological Seminary at Grand Canyon University is seeking applicants for a full-time Seminary Director with faculty responsibilities to begin in January of 2026. The Seminary Director oversees co-curricular programming, church engagement, and operations for the seminary's main campus facility. The ideal candidate will be able to serve as Chair of the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program. The Director reports to the seminary's Assistant Dean and works closely with the Dean and faculty to incorporate and integrate all academic, spiritual, and practical aspects of the seminary's curricular and co-curricular programming.
The Director will manage events, host local pastors and guests, coordinate activities, and oversee classroom environments and student workers within the main campus seminary facility. We are searching for a well-rounded and collaborative clinician with proven administrative experience and a strong passion for research, teaching, and community outreach. The candidate will be comfortable in initiating and managing relationships with faculty, along with developing and maintaining positive relationships with organizational and community leaders.
The Department Chair will be primarily accountable for the overall success of the DHMG-AZ Department of Medicine by improving the quality of clinical care, education and scholarship. This individual will also be responsible for collaborating with the DHMG-AZ leadership to strategically plan the future growth and development of the Department, the healthcare service lines within the Department, and the implementation of educational programs. The geographic footprint of the Department of Medicine stretches across the Phoenix metropolitan area, covering ambulatory and hospital services in Phoenix, Chandler, and Gilbert.
In collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix, as Co-Academic Chair, this physician will support the following medical education programs:
