What you will do:
Travel to a facility or site location within 60 miles from your residency
Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the cooperating health care organization
Maintain effective communication with the student, cooperating preceptor/mentor, Office of Field Experience (OFE), and the GCU Course Faculty
Provide additional sources of information during contracted weeks with the student and by being available through phone, email, and cooperatively deriving workable solutions if difficulties arise
Encourage learner responsibility in the student field experience
Provide adequate records on the CONHCP student and supply those records to the GCU Course Faculty (use of external software - Typhon)
Apply evaluation procedures and supply those results to the GCU Course Faculty
Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University
Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What you need:
MSN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP)
Minimum of two 2 years professional experience in an ACNP or AGACNP role
Active, current, and unencumbered ACNP/AGACNP state license
An active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
National board certification - ACNP/AGACNP specific
Successfully pass a drug test
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

8. Assist with collection efforts of past-due accounts.
9. Manage student account holds; verify clearance to register and receive transcripts and diplomas.
10. Determine book voucher eligibility and issuance of book vouchers.
11. Initiate student refund requests for students with excess funds or overpayments.
12. Coordinate and follow up on payment plans with the contracted tuition management service.

The Clinical Coordinator teaching responsibilities include classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and supporting clinical education experiences for students placed in externships. The Clinical Coordinator's administrative responsibilities include overseeing the externship clinical placement process for both undergraduates (SLPa practicum) and graduate students, communicating with and supporting clinical supervisors, providing clinical advising, contributing to clinical education development, supporting departmental program assessment, and participating in department and university service. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent clinical supervision and teaching and will be expected to maintain an active program of community engagement and service. The successful candidate will be willing and able to integrate Christian faith in the classroom.
