Job Summary
The MDS Nurse uses independent judgment in the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluation of activities of the professional and supportive nursing staff engaged in resident plan of care. Qualifications

Write or refine SOPs, checklists, and forms in collaboration with PSM and operations teams.
Manage and support Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR) processes.
Assist in policy creation to manage unique hazards associated with the RDU, aligning with PSM, API, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
Organize and lead operator and craft training before and after startup.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Assure the quality of patient care and treatment programs by providing hands on treatment and direction to subordinate staff on matters of treatment.
Implement patient plan of care and goals using appropriate Speech Pathology skills.
Be able to provide patient care during scheduled hours as assigned by a supervisor.
Actively listen to patient and family concerns when modifying treatment plans.
Educate and motivate patients and families to learn and improve functional activities.
Assure the quality of overall perceived patient care.
Clean and prepare equipment for therapy session.
Straighten and clean rooms.
Record data progress during therapy session.
Perform administrative duties.
Document progress, home programs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
Confer with other staff members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment plans.
Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times.
Participate in continuing education activities and obtain required contact hours.
All job duties considered essential to job performance.

Adherence to GOPT Policies
Demonstrate positive rapport with staff members, developing positive employee relations.
Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.

Responsibilities
Event Management : Plan and execute all aspects of Foundation events, including concept development, budget management, vendor relations and sponsorships, logistics, and on-site coordination.
Marketing & Promotion : Develop and implement marketing strategies for events, fundraising efforts, and donor stewardship, utilizing various channels such as email campaigns, social media, press releases, and print materials to maximize attendance and engagement.
Donor & Alumni Relations : Collaborate with the development and alumni relations teams to create events that cultivate relationships, steward donors, and engage the college's national network of alumni.
Project Managemen t: Strategize and execute plans for specific projects as needed.
Volunteer Coordination : Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
Brand Ambassador : Serve as an ambassador for the Hastings College Foundation, representing the organization professionally at events and in the community.
Reporting & Analysis : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event, and provide post-event analysis and recommendations for improvement.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning or marketing, preferably in a non-profit or higher education setting.
