The Role
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will be responsible for evaluating residents' functional abilities and designing individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily activities. You'll provide hands-on therapy, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality rehabilitation services that support our residents' goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate residents' functional, cognitive, and psychosocial needs using standardized assessments.
· Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve daily living skills, mobility, and safety.
· Provide therapeutic interventions including adaptive equipment training, therapeutic exercise, and functional retraining.
· Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to support rehabilitation goals.
· Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
· Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other team members to deliver coordinated care.
· Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
· Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of practice.
· Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
· Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred.
· Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms, laundry rooms, and other areas as needed.
Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping cart and assigned equipment.
Maintain outside grounds as well as areas around dumpsters by removing trash, sweeping, and assisting with snow removal when necessary.
Troubleshoot any situations that may arise and utilize appropriate resources when necessary.
Report damaged or improperly working equipment and property promptly using the work order process.

Develop and deliver educational presentations in the community on topics such as NARCAN /Naloxone use, safe injection practices, fentanyl test strips, and harm reduction best practices. Also, create and facilitate train-the-trainer programs to educate peers and community members on overdose prevention and program awareness and acceptance.
Represent CHN by acting as the organization's representative at community meetings, conferences, and events related to syringe access and harm reduction.
Provide in-person assistance for CHN's drug checking services, adhering to grant policies and established protocols.
Facilitate and supervise on-site and mobile STI/HIV/HCV testing and counseling services.
Provide sterile injecting and smoking equipment, safe disposal containers, condoms, lubricants, and educational materials to individuals who use drugs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Previous experience need not have been on a full-time basis.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Ability to discuss sex and sexuality comfortably.

An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for assisting and administering medications as outlined by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, to include verifying the accuracy of the medications administered, documenting, reporting errors, and reordering medications as required. Responsible for providing clients with protective oversight and being responsive in meeting the needs and requests of residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior that align with the values of Hilltop's Assisted living Communities (ALCs), including Service 1, how we treat each other, and Service 2, how we treat our residents. Service 1 and Service 2 is demonstrated by setting boundaries, being predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent.
2. Administer medications as outlined by physician orders by verifying medications to the Medications Administration Record.
3. Strictly follow the rights of medication administration process including right medication, right resident, right dose, right time, right route, right reason, and right documentation.
4. Promote and participate in positive customer relations by learning and using resident names; acknowledging residents and visitors; answering the phone as needed; having knowledge of the facility, where to direct people, and how to access resources; maintaining confidentiality; and demonstrating a positive attitude.
5. Strictly follow the rights of medication administration process; including right dose, right route, right medication, right client, and right documentation.
6. Follow all Corporate, Program, and State Medication Administration policies, procedures, and regulations.
7. Monitor the narcotic medications by counting all assigned narcotics prior to receiving control over the medication cart; conduct a narcotic count prior to giving control of the medication cart to any other individual.
8. Complete assigned documentation within prescribed timelines promptly, accurately, and legibly.
9. Report all medication errors immediately and completes the required documentation for medication errors.
10. Clean assigned medication carts prior to the end of the shift by emptying trash, wiping down the cart, organizing medications, and replenishing supplies.
11. Answer radio, pager, and the resident request system.
12. Assume Care Specialist duties, as needed.

This role pays an hourly rate of $14.81

Responsibilities
* Arrives for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform and ready to work
* Attentively listens to guests' questions and requests
* Provides accurate information to guests relative to events being held in the building including dates, times, ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, seating options, event descriptions and general information about the facility
* Accurately generates tickets from the computerized system and retains tickets until payment transaction is complete
* Handles payment transactions whether by cash or credit card in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
* Ensure that an acceptable credit card is provided supported by a photo ID and the guest signs receipt or with regard to cash purchases any change is counted back to the guest
* Provides tickets to guest and requests guest to review the tickets to ensure the date and time of the event are as requested
* Ensures that cash count is accurate at beginning of shift and that when the cash drawer is counted at the end of the shift by management, the cash in the drawer equals the amount taken in per the ticketing system, plus the starting bank
* Listens to guest concerns and complaints in a calm and patient manner and resolves issue to the satisfaction of guest or if necessary contacts Supervisor/Manager to assist guest
Qualifications
* High school diploma/GED preferred
* Basic computer skills ideally with a computerized ticketing system
* Previous cash handling and/or retail experience
* Ability to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash and process credit card transactions
