    Responsible for the set-up of all Banquet space; including, but not limited to, all set-up, break down and general condition of all indoor and outdoor meeting and Banquet facilities, and assistant to the Set-Up supervisor, Head Set-Up Supervisors, Banquet Assistant Managers, and Banquet Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must follow proper grooming and dress standards set forth by the Employee Handbook Report to work on time, in uniform and with proper tools Maintain open line of communication with supervisor Flexible and long hours sometimes required Complete all assignments requested of you Availability to work On Call Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas to include the carpet, walls, walks, doors, windows, heating/air conditioning units, etc. Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and organized manner stocked with any and all appropriate suppliesnecessary for meetings or food service functions Be familiar with fire exit and extinguisher location and follow all hotel safety rules Breakdown after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment Refresh meeting rooms as needed Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent preferred Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Michigan driver's license and be insurable under the Resort's policy OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES You will need to possess eagerness and enthusiasm. You must be experienced and love what you do. You will get all the support you need and desire and we will help you to push to the next level of quality.
