Job Description:
The Summer Associate program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within investment banking. Summer Associates will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Summer Associates play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.
As an integral member of the team, Associates play a meaningful role in new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution. Associates work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities and then meet with and present to prospective clients. Associates must demonstrate a mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions. Associates are also charged with drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials utilized in transactions.
