Our Mainframe Engineering team is looking for an experienced, senior level zOS System Programmer to help with zOS new release installs, maintenance and OEM installs. More specifically, this role will require problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues. And in this capacity, perform programming and debugging activities. This engineer will also be responsible for responding to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets and may engage and manage outside vendors. We are looking for a full-stack engineer. However, “full-stack” can mean a lot these days, so here is what we're looking for specifically:
Ruby/Rails: We're a Ruby shop here at Buildout, so a deep knowledge of Rails is going to help you get up and running quickly. Our app uses all of the standard Rails goodness you know and love, as well as a lot of additional tools for design, business logic, and background jobs. If you like to learn new skills, you're going to fit in really well.
Javascript: Our front-end relies heavily on Javascript. We currently have a mix of core features written using vanilla ES5 and React, but are focusing on ES6 and React for all future front-end work. We are looking for people with a strong working Javascript base who want to keep finding and working with the best new tools.
Testing: Is testing a natural part of your process? If so, you'll be appreciated here. We are actively building out our test suite and providing ample team resources to make sure that everything we create is tested and rock-solid. Our test suite uses RSpec for most of our Rails work.
Other Web Tech: We use git for source control, Slim for our view templates, lightly customized Bootstrap for our CSS, MySQL and AWS. If you're really passionate about some new technology, we'd love to hear about it.

Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications
Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to launch new features

Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks

What We're Looking For
5 years+ of professional Android development experience
Deep proficiency in Kotlin (React Native familiarity is a plus)
Strong grasp of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM or MVI architecture patterns
A solid track record of writing unit and integration tests
Familiarity with CI/CD systems and mobile performance monitoring tools
A product-focused mindset and a desire to build seamless user experiences
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, startup-like environment

The base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $188,250
Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.

Property Solutions Inc. in Chicago IL area seeks an Architect/Engineer for Building Due Diligence
At Property Solutions Inc., you will conduct Property Condition Assessments and forensic studies to identify and remedy physical deficiencies for existing buildings. For proposed projects, you will conduct review of construction drawings, costs, and cursory review of contracts and schedules. Furthermore, you will conduct Construction Monitoring, where you will be exposed to a wide variety of properties or construction developments, including multi-family, mixed-use developments, commercial properties, office buildings, retail/shopping centers, hotels, and industrial and warehouse buildings.
This is an ideal position for a senior or junior level Architect or Engineer, that wish to utilize their technical and forensic investigated skills of evaluating building systems and components.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate status to clients and internal management
• Ability to conduct field visits including use of roof ladders, attics, and confined spaces
• Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time (including some overnight travel)
• Experience with reviewing or composing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction drawings
• Proficiency in computer programs in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and on-line platforms
• Understanding of building systems as it pertains to due diligence
Responsibilities
• Perform investigative research of various properties and buildings
• Compose Property Condition Assessment reports, Construction Monitoring reports, and upfront Plan and Cost peer reviews for investors and lending institutions
•Conduct walk-through surveys of buildings to assess the condition of a building's components and site work improvements. Prepare cost estimate costs to remedy building deficiencies;
• Conduct review construction plans, costs, contracts and schedules
• Interview property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the subject property
• Coordinate, manage and respond to client follow-up questions and requests for changes or clarifications
Compensation
The below range is a good faith estimate pursuant to applicable equal pay and pay transparency laws. The actual salary offered will be based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and work location.
