Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, preparation & serving of food. Keep entire kitchen clean & orderly. Supervise staff when dietary management is not in facility. Communicate well with dietary management. 2. Follow department safety rules. 3. Prepare & cook foods according to standardized recipes in the correct amount needed. Prepare main entrée, vegetable and required meat textures. 4. Be efficient in operating cooking equipment. Report need for equipment repair to dietary management. 5. Remain current in food preparation,modified diets, sanitation & meal service. Keep internet classes up to date. 6 .Serve food to all areas according to the menu & portion control guidelines. Qualifications Preferred Experience: Prior experience in an Assisted Living or Long Term Care Environment in the Food Service/Dietary areas preferred but not required Additional Information 1.
