He was named a 2011 Thought Leader in Health Care by Business Review West Michigan. He serves as a member of Washington DC based eHealth Initiative's Leadership Council and is a Board member of the Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC), a national trade association for health information exchange organizations.
