Job Description
Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for a Clinic Operator - West Valley City (Fairbourne Neurology Clinic).
This position involves a high number of calls each day (70-120) and we are looking for candidates with experience in dealing with that volume.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated and above all else compassionate. Operators work closely with our patients, physicians and support staff to provide the best care to each patient. As the operators are the first point of contact with the patients, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $15 - $18 / hr, depending on experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent phone etiquette, customer service, and communication skills.
Typing / keyboarding skills
Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Reviewing new referrals and scheduling appointments in accordance with established procedures.
Answer telephones in a professional manner.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
Record all demographic information necessary to contact patient and/or bill insurance carrier for services provided.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
Implement appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.)
Follow "lights on" procedures to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection process (e.g., repeats the physiological and instrument calibrations and instructs the patient on completing questionnaires, etc.)
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
Current CPR BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross

Physician Employment Opportunity - Family Medicine
Granger Medical is actively seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internist to join our existing Family Medicine group, as part of Granger's multi-specialty medical clinic in West Valley City, Utah.
The Physician is responsible for Family Medicine-specific patient care; including but not limited to: evaluation and management, follow-up, medication management, procedures and implementing a treatment plan in conjunction with patient needs. Physician will manage patient charts within the current EMR; eClinicalWorks. Physician will be involved in call coverage as shared with the group.

Minimum Requirements
Appropriate & applicable licensure, education & certification as a Physician in the state of Utah.
Proper insurance credentialing prior to patient care

Overview:
Candidate will work closely with physicians and support staff to provide patient care including: telephone triage, insurance authorizations, recording of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.), administration of immunizations, phlebotomy, maintenance of exam rooms and filing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills able to communicate courteously and effectively to patients.

Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
Must be able to read, communicate and write well in English.
Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with Physicians, clinic staff and patients.
Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, reading and writing required
Essential Functions and Duties:
Answer phones, schedule appointments and greet patients for medical or other services.
Record all demographic information necessary to contact patients and do prior authorization for medications and procedures.
Prepare patients for exams and supply the provider with all relevant information (lab results, vital signs, medications, allergies).
Communicate with patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Bilingual - Spanish speaking fluent
2 year experience preferred
1 year Medical Office experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Standing and walking for extended periods, Lifting up to 50lbs.
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.
