Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line
Bolts, nails, a-lines, and blocks up under forms
Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alinement, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications
Levels earth to fine grade specifications, using pick and shovel.
Mixes, concrete, using portable mixer
Smooths and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete, using float, trowel, or screed

About this Role

* Coordinate with the project Scheduler to obtain S-curves and look-ahead schedules (three-week and one-month) for inclusion in progress reporting.
* Support reporting related to subcontractor productivity, field progress, and schedule impacts.
Document Management & Construction Document Control
* Maintain IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings within Bluebeam, ensuring proper revision control and distribution to field teams.
* Collect, organize, and manage subcontractor and field as-built documentation, redlines, and Management of Change (MOC) records.
* Coordinate with Quality Control, project engineers, and field supervision to ensure construction documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
* Support documentation readiness for owner reviews, audits, turnover, and project closeout activities.
Submittals, RFIs & Contractor Logs
* Track and process contractor submittals through document control systems, including routing, tracking, and status updates.
* Maintain accurate RFI and submittal logs aligned with construction schedules and subcontractor sequencing.
* Track response timelines and follow up with internal teams, designers, vendors, and subcontractors to prevent construction delays.
* Coordinate communication between project management and field teams regarding approved submittals and released-for-construction documents.

The Drafter - Substation will perform routine substation design assignments, which require knowledge and skill in basic CAD techniques and procedures. Thorough knowledge of CAD standards, material, and AutoCAD software will be required. This position will report to a Lead Designer and support substation projects across the QISG platform.

Analyze competition and communicate with owners, subcontractors, public and private entities to ensure competitiveness.
Communicate estimate bid information to field operations at pre-construction meetings to ensure understanding of scope of job.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.

What You'll Bring

What You'll Do
As a Risk Analyst intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the risk management activities of our organization. Prepare and present reports, presentations, or other deliverables as assigned.
Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

What You'll Do
The Assistant Construction Project Management Internship allows you the ability to gain hands-on safety experience. In this position, you will learn the basic principles of the industry and its applicable safety requirements, skills of effective safety management, and communication and relationship building behaviors with the goal of becoming a Safety Coordinator at one of our Operating Companies.
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
Support project managers in tracking project progress, schedules, and budgets.
Help prepare project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Participate in site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Perform administrative tasks related to project management as needed.
