Rob Hale is President and CEO of Granite Telecommunications and a co-founder of Copley Equity Partners. Rob currently serves on Copley’s investment committee and also serves as an entrepreneur in residence to assist the development of Copley’s portfolio companies. Rob founded Granite in 2002 and has grown the company into one of the largest privately held telecommunications services companies in the U.S., with revenues exceeding $1 Billion. Rob is the founder and board chair of Fox Rock Capital, a single family office based in Boston, founding owner of FoxRock Properties, a commercial real estate firm, and is co-owner of the NBA’s Boston Celtics and Boston Cannons of the MLL. Rob lives in the Boston area with his wife and three children. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, the South Shore YMCA, and the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund.

Mr. Currier has been a co-founder, the COO and Senior Vice President of Operations since Granite’s inception in 2002. As COO he helped lead Granite from no employees, no revenue and no profit to over $1.55B in revenue, profitable, cash flow positive with no debt and no outside investors and over 2,200 successful teammates. Awards earned by Granite include Inc. Magazine’s America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies (10 years in a row), the United States Postal Service Supplier Excellence Award (2012), Forbes’ America’s Best Employers by State (2019), America’s Best Midsize Employers (2019), Best Employers for Diversity (2019) and Best Employers for New Grads (2018), and Boston Business Journal’s Largest Private Companies (2009-2020), Healthiest Employer Award (2012, 2014-2017) and Top Corporate Charitable Contributors (12 years in a row).

Mr. Currier has spent over thirty years in the telecom industry. Prior to Granite, he had a successful career working for Sprint and other large telecommunications carriers, managing sales and operational personnel for local, long distance, and international voice and data products and equipment. He earned an MBA with honors from the American University in Washington DC and a BA with honors from HLC.

Richard Wurman is a Chief Financial Officer at Granite Telecommunications and is based in Quincy, Massachusetts. He has worked as Interim CFO/Finance/Accounting Services at Independant Consultant; CFO at Online Vacation Center; and Vice President, Financial and Telecommunications Services at Granite Telecommunications. Richard studied at Dickinson College between 1982 and 1986 and Robert H Smith School of Business between 1987 and 1989.
